American Family Radio is a listener supported broadcast ministry of the American Family Association. AFR exists to be a voice for AFA to help motivate and equip individuals to restore American culture to its moral foundations. AFR does this in a variety of ways with both its music/teaching format as well as its Christian Conservative Talk format. AFR is not xenophobic as we are a platform for other ministry partners such as James Dobson's Family Talk, Tony Perkins and Washington Watch or David Jeremiah's Turning Point.

AFR understands that politics and polices alone will not change America. It will take an intervention of Christ and our hearts turned back to Him. AFR hopes to educate our listeners with news and issues of the day but more importantly convey the Truth of Christ through clear presentations of the Gospel.

## AFR Reviews in United States

### ***** "I love this station"
Great informational source
-- LearningBeyondSelf, 2024-10-24

### ****- "Would give 5 stars, but"
I listen to AFR more often than not and love it, but…. Please update the listening schedule and app display to tell me who and what I’m actually listening to. More often than not, I figure out who’s talking and just follow them on their podcast so I can hear the whole thing, listen to it again, or hear more of their stuff.
-- M22M6, 2024-07-25

### **--- "Ok app, if you can get to play music"
App is just ok. Doesn’t seem to work as other podcast/music apps, must always be open and controlled inside the app. My big problem is that even if you select “AFR music” many times it will NOT play music! It instead only plays the talk radio, which I do not want to hear at that time. The screen shows a song is playing, but all you get is talk. It has been this way for years. App NEVER seems to improve. Wish they would put at least a little effort into making this app better. Disappointed.
-- SawTech, 2023-07-25

### *---- "Very hateful to claim they are a (Christian)"
All they talk about is homophobia and is 99% negative! I am a gay Christian and I will never listen to this again!
-- Riellybutt06, 2023-07-11

### ***** "Love this app!"
My wife has been listening for years and I recently started listening to several of the shows. Thank the Lord that AFR exist.
-- ShaneV, 2023-04-23

### ***** "I listen to them almost ALL DAY!"
I listen to them almost ALL DAY!
-- Churchguy78, 2023-01-19

### ***** "Awesome App! I don’t leave home with out it! 🥰"
This is a great way to stay informed on current issues! Christian news at its best! Highly recommend it to anyone that wants quality news, preaching and music!

It’s free! I donate monthly because it’s worth every penny!

Stay informed on the AFR app! #Share

-- Abbrevisted, 2022-10-15

### ***** "Awesome!!!!!!"
Very well made and easy to handle, and quality application. AFR and AFA are worthy this day of holding the Word to minister for all. May it be so for as long as God wills
-- G. Mer, 2022-08-22

### ***** "Works great"
Works whenever I need it, so no complaints.
