Afri-Grub app is an all in one app for both African food sellers and buyers. The app aims at providing a rescue to Africans in the United Kingdom craving African food, by acting as a veritable bridge, and providing an equitable platform that links buyers to sellers.
As the world in general, especially in a metropolitan city like London, is getting more fast paced, people are constantly on the go, and a high percentage don’t have time to make their own food (this involves going to the market to buy the ingredients, before the actual process of cooking), coupled with the fact that not everyone is a good cook or enjoys cooking. As worrying as this is for the general populace, it is more than twice more troubling for Africans abroad as the markets they can buy the needed ingredients for their unique food are few if not inexistent. Their challenge is further compounded by the fact that, the few recognized restaurants making African food are located far off. The reality however is that there exist many more of such restaurants and people that cook at home that go about their daily business unrecognized, and many more doing the odd cooking here and there who crave for the recognition.
