## AfterFocus Description
PC World: "5 essential iOS apps for photographers"
AppAdvice: "AfterFocus Brings DSLR-Like Photography To Your iPhone"

With AfterFocus, you can create DSLR-style background blurred photo by simply selecting focus area. Also, various filter effects offer you to create the most natural and realistic photo.

Selecting a focus area more precisely, you can achieve more natural and professional image.
Just mark the areas you want, AfterFocus automatically recognizes the focus area precisely even for an object with complex shapes.
This auto function allows you to work faster on smart phones with small screen.
Also, background blur effect of AfterFocus gives a photo the realistic look between the edge of the background and the focus area.

With our realistic filter effects, you will enjoy photographing and photo editing even more, and share them on SNS easily.

1. Smart focus area selection
Simply draw some lines inside a focus area and the background, then AfterFocus will automatically recognize the focus area. You can also select the area with traditional finger painting.

2. Background Blur effect
You can create the most realistic blur effect with various aperture styles just like DSLR camera.
To emphasize that certain things move, Motion blur effect is also available.

3. Filter effect
AfterFocus offers from basic effects to professional effects like Cross Process without looking artificial.
Also, you can emphasize the spot light on the background using Bokeh effect.

4. Double photo
Take a picture of one object and move slightly to the right to take another picture of the same object, and it will analyze the images and recognize the nearest object, so there is no need to draw the focus area.
(Make sure that the background and the distance of the object are far enough and have clear texture to get a great result.)

5. Easy share
You can share through e-mails and SNS easily and simply.

## AfterFocus Reviews in United States

### *---- "Doesn’t save photo to phone"
App crashes when you try to save. I want a refund
-- TMARA!, 2023-12-16

### *---- "If it would stop crashing…"
I might be able to actually get some use out of this. Wasted my money.
-- Kerzedame, 2023-04-02

### *---- "Immediately crashes, not iPad compatible"
Under iOS 16, immediately crashes. Wish I could get the $1 back. Also is not an iPad app. Shows only vertical in iPhone sized window.
-- ErinsHusband, 2023-02-01

### *---- "Just waste of money !!!"
too much bad apps i ever seen !
-- Amit Kuri, 2021-03-21

### ****- "Missing some features"
Hey All, coming from Android and the Pro version of this app since I loved it so much. I'm definitely missing some filters when. Not sure specifics but I know I had 2 different black/white options and I forget thr other. Anyway to bring that back?
-- Globetrahter, 2020-12-24

### **--- "Great app"
But is it abandonware? There was no update for 3 years already. Feels and work outdated. Reduced fto 5 to 2 stars unless it is updated or developer confirms it will be updated.
-- GLaDOS_Portal2, 2020-09-24

### ***** "Makes photos “POP”!"
I’ve been using this app for years!
And I absolutely love how it makes the subject of your photo really stand out and pop against the background - it excels at getting rid of a very noisy backgrounds.
My favorite use is a single subject/portrait and then motion blur and gray out the background. I’ve gotten some fantastic photos this way. And if I have a very clean line around my subject I will put the “sticker” effect on for some drama and it just looks great. It would be nice to be able to change the color of that white sticker outline though - maybe a future enhancement?
Really great app for what it does. Five stars all the way!! Very nice job developers!!
-- w4shep, 2020-07-24

### ***** "Must have app for photograph."
One of the best app for retouching portraits on the newer iPhones and the best option for a single-lens camera.
If you know how to use this app, this is perfect.
Thank you
-- Buburuzele, 2020-07-24

### ***** "Pretty Good, thumbs up"
Just got this app because I wanted to touch up some selfies to use as profile pics. I usually take selfies on snap or Instagram because of the nice filters, but then you don’t get to take advantage of the portrait mode on your phone. This app did exactly what I needed it to. The “manual blur” is fast and easy to use and I love how it lets you change the amount of blur after you’ve cropped out the background
-- lstigsyhb, 2020-05-10

### *---- "Horrible. Hard to use. Useless."
Horrible. Hard to use. Useless.
