## AfterHour Description
OVER $300M+ SHARED IN THE STOCK MARKET SUPER APP
The only social app with real trades by real people, 24/7 stock chats, and real-time alerts in a community of verified active traders and investors.

REAL-TIME ALPHA
See who traded what (and how many dollars moved) as it happens. Create a custom Signals stack to receive alerts when a guru makes a move, when sentiment shifts, or when a ticker starts gaining community momentum.

REAL-TIME ENTERTAINMENT
AfterHour is the place for must-see trading. Discuss up-to-the-minute moves within live chats on each stock page, make your case (or debate someone else’s) in the feed, or just sit back and enjoy the show.

TRUSTED AND TRANSPARENT
The only social trading app where you can view verified, dollar-specific trade amounts from real traders. On AfterHour, traders are pseudonymous, meaning the data you see is verified without disclosing PII.

TOP FEATURES

ALERTS
Get real-time, actionable alerts for things you care about. Notifications that benefit you more than us. Create custom alerts to know when someone makes a trade (with real dollar amounts), the very moment it happens.

CHAT
Watch live stock charts and talk about them in the same place. Join the conversation with verified shareholders in real-time massive chat rooms to watch the action unfold, like a Twitch stream for your favorite stocks.

FEED
Talk about the stuff you care about–and discover stuff nobody is talking about yet. We’ll automatically curate your feed with discussions around the stocks you own. And to help you find new alpha, we’ll surface trending topics that reflect new ideas from new people.

## AfterHour Reviews in United States

### *---- "Bunch of brokes trying to sell you on how they are a better trader than the next. Hard pass"
I was scammed by a user that goes by dragonstock. He had me send him money and then ghosted me and deleted me from AH. If you see this user or any user asking you to join their telegram, it could be him using another profile or another scammer.
-- stevet62482, 2025-11-22

### **--- "Great concept, subpar app"
Great concept, love reading people’s due diligence, TA on stocks, and insight from the pros.

If only I could actually read them because the app seems to be down 95% of the time I try to use it. Stuff never loads. Notifications I click on lead to posts that never load, etc
-- Unc6741, 2025-11-19

### **--- "Useful but barely"
This app updates at the weirdest times and takes forever. Values aren’t updated, and picks aren’t update in enough time. By the time they are, the play is done. You have to get lucky to copy.
-- SavageLegit, 2025-11-14

### **--- "Portfolio updates are unreliable and often late by over a day"
I have been following a few people and their portfolio positions don’t update regularly. It will often show up a day or two after the fact. The actual value of the portfolio will also be often incorrect (confirmed with simple math on value of options). The day gain / loss vs the total gain / loss is often the same value which cannot be true for positions that have been held for longer than a day. This app is extremely frustrating to use.
-- IHaveSpokn, 2025-11-14

### ****- "Sign in with phone number"
Just switched from Apple to android and am having a hard time signing into my account. Is there anyway to add a phone number sign in feature? Would be really helpful!! I’m used to checking in on the app daily but am stuck using my old phone to check in on just this one app that I find very useful and knowledgeable to keep up with.
-- Zay7969, 2025-10-16

### *---- "A real review"
Been on the APP for over a year. It used to be a decent place. This app is plagued with conspiracy loonies, bots and gamblers. No better than wallstreetbets. The mods are no better and launched a pump and dump coin to rug the community.
-- Dickwrapped, 2025-10-13

### *---- "Contains only three things:"
1: People showing off money
2: Paid groups
3: Scams
If you are looking for a place to actually learn how to trade this isn’t it.
-- TaylorHazelwood, 2025-10-02

### *---- "Scams abundant"
There is little to no transparency in this app. The idea is you link a portfolio and everyone can see your trades.

All you’ll find is a couple guys with a million in the bank making yearly returns of 1-3% telling you that you too can make 30k a year trading if you buy their course.
-- nakakwkskkddk, 2025-08-23

### *---- "Filled with self-promoting garbage and questionable trades"
You can get the same info off X or Reddit. The only thing going for this platform is the portfolio tracker, which honestly becomes an ego-boosting circlejerk feature. Account size doesn’t equal success. Account gain doesn’t equal success. Plenty of large accounts that make horrible trades. Plenty of accounts with large gains that lose it all on bad trades. Longevity is success, and copying risky or vibe trades on this app will lead to losses more often than gains.

Additionally, there are so many shills and off-platform self promoters who get airtime. There’s very little moderation. Join a good investing subreddit instead.

Learn from the wealth of resources on the internet. Never copy trade. You take on more risk, you won’t know how to execute like the trader you copied, and for all you know the trader you copied could be gambling

This app is mostly for self-promoting or flexing account size. Look elsewhere
-- 12eracb, 2025-08-09

### **--- "Cool App / Fake Accounts"
Was a cool app until people continue to spread lies and propaganda like neverpullover and his continued lies. Owner does not care.
-- Definitely True, 2025-07-27
