I’ve been using afterpay for over 6 years! Recently the app prompted me to verify my identity, (which is perfectly fine) unfortunately for some reason it’s saying the address is wrong (it’s not). I spoke with customer via app, and phone. No one listened to the problem. They just keep saying basically when the app wants to it will unlock. I have to wait for a cooling off period but no one knows the apps cooling off period. Insanity is I’m paying off an order and my id isn’t required for them to take the money for that. I’m charged for my order but the order does not submit to Walmart. Each time I have had to fight with AfterPay and somehow prove that my order did not submit to Walmart. How do you prove that?? Each time AfterPay acts as if I’m just trying to get something for free. Look, I do not want to be AfterPaying my GROCERIES dude. But here we are. I should be able to trust this is going to work and I do not have money to be tossing away while you guys figure out this glitch. It’s also really annoying that there is a chat but that it takes forever to get someone to email back about an issue. So, today is a holiday and I’m out money until someone returns to office. If you want to pay a certain amount up front don’t do it. They pick and choose which installments they want to cover and not cover even if you have it on automatic payments. They have some installments paid twice instead of paying which ones are actually due. Don’t bother trying to get any support. They will give you the run around and at the end you get no help at all. They just send sorry messages. I just wish they would fix the error when ordering on walmart through the Afterpay app, selecting to pre-fill the card details, and then nothing happens. No card details are entered. At that point you’re forced to close out the app entirely and attempt the purchase again. This is inconvenient when the kids are chaotic and I’m spending a couple minutes to place a quick order. It’s actually made me say never mind to Afterpay a few times. It has been going on for YEARS, so it appears there is no resolution in place.
