Very harsh on loyal/responsible customers
Recently I had a change in payment method. I switched from my chase debit to a cash app visa which after pay also accepts. Unfortunately this week alone, afterpay decided to decline my payments and dubbed my method as a prepaid card. I tried remaking the attempt multiple times through Apple Pay which they also accept, I was still being declined. I had to enter the whole card number manually all over again for 4 different payments for them to accept it. I contacted support multiple times within the same time frames. However, since the orders were declined so many times already, they took my $900 spending limit to $50…. That’s so crazy knowing I’m always on time with payments and have been using after pay for a couple of years now. I had just recently given them a beautiful review but to be so high and then drop so low over a technical error is crazy.

Blocked me from using the app for no reason.
Terrible app/No customer service!!
Don’t use this app if you can help it! They are terrible in responding with issues, especially when they cause them. I had an order approved on Amazon and they cancelled the payment after approval which prevented a gift from going out for Christmas. The vendor confirmed Afterpay cancelled the payment and when you try to find out why, no one wants to help and they take forever to respond. DO NOT USE THEM!! Use another one of the many more reliable pay apps instead.

Scammers
I understand there’s a company policy to adhere by, but sometimes people just forget to do things like add money to their account or have financial issues instead of diminishing somebody’s hard work where they’ve spent months building up their credit to have it revoked after being ONE day late on a $30 payment and put them back at zero knowing that obviously people are using this app as a financial need and not a want it’s really bad for business and I hope eventually consumers will realize this and stop with these buy now pay in 4 apps

Rather misleading
I am not going to spend a lot of time because they honestly do not care. However do not get a person pre approved and send them to the store only to get in line to pay and get declined. Furthermore the only feedback given is that we do not always approve every transaction. That’s totally unfair and should in no way be an standard practice. Not cool
