Not compatible with European market. Idiots running their engineering department
I have been a customer with Agoda for more than 12+yrs now. Recently, I started using Agoda for my European travel bookings. It’s a miserable experience. Agoda will block the links sent by the hotel booking for checkin(In EU most hotels use automated checkin checkout process). Their Product and Engineering department have no idea about what they are doing. A bunch of idiots just trying to get into the market without understanding how it works. Stay away from agoda if you are in EU. Otherwise, u will end up waiting with your family infront on your hotel as you dont have the checkin details to login as agoda blocked them.
False advertisement and unapproved cash-back: a disappointing experience with agoda
I had a disappointing experience with the Agoda app. The prices displayed are misleading and do not reflect the actual cost you end up paying. Additionally, the promised cash-back offers are never approved by the businesses, making it essentially a scam. Once you realize the true cost, it's too late to claim that you didn't get the best price. I would not recommend using Agoda based on my experience.

Worst Customer Service
We booked a place in Milan 2 months in advance. One week before the trip, Agoda calls us saying the unit is not available and we are given (more like forced) 2 choices. 1. Free cancellation + 20 Eur compensation (very generous). 2. They will try to find a replacement place but not guaranteed (very comforting and trusting). They also write us a confirmation email maling it seem that we cancel the trip and they are giving us a favor. 👍🏽

Worst layout ever
Who designed that app?? It's super user unfriendly - if it wasn't for one cheaper price would never enter there. So many random things popping up, not clear information, complicated layout... nightmare.
Transport
Det er ikke altid nemt at finde ud af , hvordan man kan komme rundt, hvis man ikke ønsker at køre bil selv. Det ville være en stor hjælp , hvis I skrev noget om f.eks taxa priser, bus muligheder eller om hotellet tilbyder busservice eks til stranden og byen.
