Agoda: Cheap Flights & Hotels

I had been using agoda for years. My last trip was on Jan-30-25 . I arrived at the property at 2:00 amd i was informed that check-in time is 2:30 and i was allocated room number 101. I went for the lunch and came back around 2:45 and asked for keys and the guy at reception said that its on 4th floor now which is under renovation. I asked why he did this and he made lame excuse. I still went up (no elevator) on 4th floor but it was under renovation. I asked then to cancel my room and he said go ask agoda. Since then, i had been contacting agoda and they keep saying its non-refundable. I waited for 3-4 hours but agoda’s chat bot is doesn’t understand emotions. With no luck in other hotel i stayed in on 4th floor which was under renovation. I told the same receptionist that i will use bad reviews and he said “go ahead as we have 14 properties and don’t care about one review.i am not sure if my message will reach out or not but Agoda and these hotels don’t care single person like me and we don’t stand a chance unless we reunite against them to be heard.

I have iPhone 14pro max and I am unable to install the app. It keeps showing a cloud icon and I have signed out if my account as well as restarted my phone multiple times, nothing is helping. What’s the issue?

I was scammed by the app promising refund after i checkout but now they saying they need a bank slip from the hotel. Well, is it my problem? I stayed at the hotel i got proof! I need my cash back!

I booked a property named Grand Park Kodhipparu Maldives for 7th to 10th April 2025. The details on the app showed a book now and pay later with the payment due on 26th March 2025 and free cancellation by 31st March 2025. But right after the booking was made I was contacted by the property demanding payment upfront. I contacted the customer support with clear proof that it mentioned “book now pay later” on the booking page but they refuse to accept it and are saying I’ll have to pay 77% of the booking as penalty. I have clear proof that even still the website and app show the property as book now pay later.

Booked a hotel in skardu but the number they gave us belongs to a hotel in muzafarabad,been asking for a refund from 2 days but their response time is too slow and if they respond they can only lie and not giving us a 100% refund.

I did a booking by mistake called the bank and informed Agoda service got a refund within 24-48 hours. But I was charged again for the same booking after 3 months. Even I removed by card the same day I did booking but Agoda violated customer policy and kept by card details. Even after cancellation I was being charged. So, don’t trust Agoda with your card. They misuse it.

Its a user friendly and a comprehensive platform for booking

Don’t pay online with Agoda, they will charge you double on the name of taxes or surcharge. Don’t believe on what they show on their website. The worst experience of my life with Agoda.

I opened account, provided my atm master card with CVC. I went selected hotel booking, I selected pay at property, the hotel also demanded number and cvc, I provided wrong cvc they book my rooms but not cut money, I just was learning to book correctly and secure my card. But next step I found my booking paid from my account. But booking looked suitable I availed booking but same happened in next booking I didn’t provided CVC card number but Agoda cut my money without my consent and with no cancellation option. That is very bad, Agoda should ensure that customer wants to pay or not so be careful when selecting booking , they may cut your money without your consent. I immediately removed my card but late so I have no choice but avail booking
