Die Idee hinter Lori ist hervorragend, und gerade in Verbindung mit der Apple Watch hätte die App nach wie vor großes Potenzial. Leider wirkt sie inzwischen verlassen: Der Support reagiert nicht, die Hilfeseiten sind verschwunden, und die iCloud-Synchronisation zwischen Geräten funktioniert nicht mehr – sehr enttäuschend. So ist der Preis für die API-Nutzung, den ich verstehe und gern ausgegeben habe, im Nachhinein kaum zu rechtfertigen, obwohl ich die App sogar weiterempfohlen hatte.

Ich bin ziemlich schockiert, dass die App, dafür, dass sie so großen Wert auf Datenschutz legt, keine Möglichkeit bietet, den Chat zu löschen. Auch hatte ich die App gelöscht, inklusive aller Daten (wie einem ja beim Löschen erzählt wird), trotzdem war bei einer Neuinstallation alles wieder da und alle Daten aus dem Chat wurden wiederhergestellt. Das ist kein Datenschutz, das ist eine Katastrophe. Ich wäre also hier absolut vorsichtig, welche Daten ich dieser App zur Verfügung stelle. Denn scheinbar verschwinden Sie nie wieder.

Enttäuschend! Ich sehe absolut keinen Mehrwert in der App, die schlechter zu bedienen ist als die ChatGPT App und deren Siri-Integration auch nur über die Kurzbefehle-App zusammengestrickt wird. Auch die Ergebnisse scheinen mir qualitativ nicht auf dem selben Niveau zu sein. Vermutlich war Lori mal ein sinnvolles Tool, als ChatGPT noch keine eigene App entwickelt hatte.
Ich kann es leider absolut nicht empfehlen und habe das Jahresabo für 19,99 Euro direkt am nächsten Tag wieder gekündigt.

### **--- "Für den Preis sicherlich Okay aber so leider nicht für meine Anwendung"
Ich wollte eigentlich eine KI die mich bei Uni Alltagssachen wie Recherche und Erklärungen oder Programmier Sache etc. unterstützt. da Lori mit 4,99€ recht preisgünstig ist und Chat GPT4 basiert ist dachte ich ich probiere es einfach mal aus. Auf dem iPad und IPhone gabs keine Probleme also hab ich die Pro Version gekauft. Dann musste ich jedoch feststellen dass es Keine Mac App gibt, was für mich das erste minus ist. Dann dachte ich ich könne mir ja wenigstens bei ein paar Zusammenfassungen oder ähnlichen aufgaben aus dem Uni Alltag helfen, jedoch stellte ich schnell fest dass ein Datei Upload scheinbar gar nicht vorgesehen ist, schade aber gut dann wenigstens ne verbesserte Suchmaschine mit erklär Funktion. Doch leider war auch dass nicht wirklich der fall …. Tages aktuelle suchen im Internet sind auch mit Pro nicht möglich und Komplexere Erklärungen liefert LORI leider auch nicht zuverlässig… die KI versteht oft Sachen falsch und liefert auch keine Quellenangaben wenn man danach fragt. Es wirkt eher wie Chat GPT 3.5 obwohl man die Antwort bekommt man könne Chat GPT 4 nutzen wenn man die KI fragt. So ist das eher eine Spielerei oder eine schöner gemachte Version von der kostenlosen Chat GPT KI auf kosten der Funktionalität…. Schade so hatte ich das nicht gedacht.

Zunächst: Lori selbst sagt, dass es nur auf ChatGPT 3 beruht und nicht 4! ChatGPT 3 ist aber auch über die offizielle App kostenlos.

### ***** "Super App, jetzt auch wieder auf MacOS!"
Die App ist wirklich genial: Ich kann sie auf dem iPhone, auf der Apple Watch (sogar mit Spracheingabe und -ausgabe) nutzen und habe alle meine Chats synchron.
Mein wichtigstes Anwendungsfeld ist aber, sie auf dem Mac zu nutzen, denn dort ersetzt sie mir ein ChatGPT-Plus-Abonnement und das zu deutlich günstigeren Preisen.

Habe chatGPT pro und Lori freigeschaltet. Am Anfang ging es aber weder diese noch die anderen Apps vom Hersteller funktionieren zur Zeit. Habe ne api keys erstellt. Alle Modelle ausprobiert. Nichts funktioniert leider :( ach ja und die Anleitung zum api key ist auch veraltet. Der Unterschied zu Personal und Projekt api nicht erklärt oder hingewiesen was man braucht. Personal wird eh abgeschafft. Vielleicht noch nicht angepasst? 🤷‍♂️
