Frustrating experience securing a reservation
When trying to make a reservation for an entire home, a host asked for my age and then read and ignored my response, letting the reservation request expire, and then blocked the dates I was trying to book preventing rebooking. I feel like I was likely profiled as undesirable for my age and gender.
While I understand that it's a host's choice to approve their guests, this experience was disappointing. If you’re going to deny a reservation request, it should be communicated asap so that alternative accommodations can be secured before other options are fully booked. Ghosting someone for 24 hours for the reservation expiry is a bad experience.
When I tried to raise this as feedback with Airbnb support, I received no response, and my support request was auto-closed. The experience was very dissatisfying and makes me reconsider using Airbnb for future bookings.
A great idea but disappointing experience
It’s so great when you get to meet new welcoming hosts and see new places and so sad how a few select disrespectful and dishonest hosts get to ruin it on the whole and their service team is not there to resolve the problem quickly and effectively. The day I can stop using Airbnb will be a blessed day and I laugh when I talk to friends and they say yeah I’ve stopped using it too because..

Terrible experience
We had a terrible experience with our hosts on our most recent holiday. We were told our accommodation would be appropriate for a toddler, and when we arrived it wasn't. AirBnB deleted our negative review and wouldn't give us a refund.

Unprofessional
I am beyond frustrated with Airbnb. Despite my honesty in reporting a double reimbursement, Airbnb showed none in return. Without any notification, the amount was deducted from my last payout, leaving me blindsided and counting on money I never actually received. This has caused me immense frustration.
I expected better from Airbnb. The attendant I spoke to was apologetic but completely unhelpful, offering no solution or remedy. This entire experience has been incredibly unfortunate and unprofessional, showcasing a significant lack of communication and staff training from such a large company.
I am extremely frustrated.
Gramercy residences Unit 5723 in Makati city
June 6-11 , 2024 on June 10 in the afternoon the wifi went off rendering No internet No TV, No Netflix, No youtube, No phone , we need to go down to the lobby to ask for a 2 hours free wifi . We appreciate this privilege . Its just annoying & inconvenient to do this, instead of staying in the comfort our room . Maybe the owner might need to change the internet provider in the room from PLDT to a more reliable one . We also appreciate the staff in trying to assist us to go online by connecting to their management line one so we can still have temporary wifi in the room . Thank you to their efforts .
Location
It would be good to identify prior to booking, if the location is on a busy highway and thus noisey traffic going by. Whether Parking is on the road rather than on-site parking. Whether air-conditioning is adjustable within the guest suite.

App has UX issues
A few things that really get frustrating fast:
- The filter option for stay type (e.g. tiny homes) cannot be removed so you cannot just see all accommodation in an area.
- Changing the same filter option will reset the maps zoom and region
- You need to reenter your search criteria every 15 min as you navigate around the app as it will get reset as some point in your user journey
- There seems to be no way to save a search?
