I tried Airbnb for the first time a few days ago just to make myself an opinion about it and i am VERY mad now. The host is asking us 120€ for cleaning fees for LITTERALY 3 CRUMBS LEFT under the table. We spent 2:30 hourd cleaning everything and we gave back the apartment the exact same way it was when we checked-in but airbnb is now asking me to pay. SHAME ON YOU, NEVER AGAIN!!!

Customer service is awful... they stole money from my credit card and I am now way to get it back. Avoid !!

The app works well enough but as long as AirBnB insists on such a punishing rating system I cannot endorse it.
I love this simple app, but I am not a youth any longer! The cheap rooms are often for the youth and to scroll down to find a place to stay is time consuming. And once I booked a place and it was pure luck that they were nice to allow me in for one night. So please add a clear sign saying ‘youth’ or something.
It needs an option to select only private renters and not professional hosts - Barcelona is now owned by professional hosts ( and thous clearly lying about being personal - with there 6 other apartments) Want access to administrate documents and contacts on Google The app wants (you can NOT opt out) access to administrate documents and contacts on Google if you sign in via Google plus - this means they can get all info in your contacts and change / delete it Also they want permission to read,edit and delete all your google documents
We have recently utilized this application as an alternative to Hotels.com, finding that the listings provide a more diverse range of accommodations. Regrettably, we encountered an issue wherein one listing did not align with its description. The residence was found to be unsanitary, and safety concerns were identified, particularly in relation to children which wasn’t in the original listing. Issues such as a leaking toilet were observed, leading us to seek an alternative, more secure option through Hotels.com. The response from customer service was unfortunately helpful at all, and the host did not make any accommodations to rectify the situation. As a result, we were forced to pay the full price for the booking despite not having stayed a single night as we had to prioritize the safety of our children.
Helt håbløs app, det må være en beta-version. Man kan ikke både optræde som vært og lejer. Menuen er direkte forvirrende og kontraintuitiv. Selv basale opslag og opgaver indvikles og forkludres i det uendelige. Airbnb er en stor organisation der burde kunne forsyne brugerne med en anvendelig app, men den aktuelle giver et indtryk af et firma under meget ringe ledelse.
