Bad experience
Had an awful experience on this app I got very disrespectful, dirty host and to protect the next traveler i went and left a review Turns out airbnb remove the bad review and leave the good ones , that way traveler will be deceived and fall in the same trap of a host over and over again
9 months and still waiting for my payout
The customer support in this case was very bad, and they let me wait about 2 3 days to reply one time, and they ignore what i say. The worst experience ever.
Bad solution
After we agreed with the owner of an apartment to allow a cat, the owner decided to cancel the booking the day we arrived to the airport. And airbnb offered to return the paid amount!
This is not an option. He cancelled the booking = he should return the amount.
But what about being stuck in the airport with no place to go for hours! Airbnb did nothing.
What is really funny is that they are stuck in really small details and forget the real problem. The caller asked a permission to speak with me! SERIOUSLY! Is that what matters now?
What about a couple of 70 years old being in the airport after a long trip, just to find out that they will be stuck in airport! With no place to go. And all you offered is get OUR MONEY back!

Horrible customer support
Decent app but the customer support are horrible with emergencies. They stick to a script and don’t even read what you write them, so if you’re having an emergency with your booking too bad for you because they are not the ones to go to.
My experience as a Guest
I reserved an apartment, and all the info were supposed to show in the listing of that apartment like date of reservation and the rules of the apartment and of the host in addition to the cancellation policy which was shown clearly in the page of the listing
After I’ve chosen the apartment based on the cancellation policy which was a flexible cancellation policy 2 weeks after the date of booking. I reserved the apartment for 33 days and after that when checking my trips, I was surprised and shocked to learn of the reservation policy change from flexible to strict cancellation policy.
It turns out that long term cancelation policy was applied, a policy that is not clearly stated like standard cancellation policy, it was rather hidden at the bottom of the booking page. Something as major as that should be pop for the user warning them before proceeding!
And since I reserved on the 3rd of April 2022, I tried to cancel the reservation on the next day around 25 hours after my booking and well with the 48 hours limit. However, it showed me that no refund is applicable. Unfortunately, I have no proof of that, so I proceeded to contact the host and Airbnb support.
The host who promised to extend cancelation policy and wrote on the chat as you can see in screenshot attached. Was not able to change anything and even refused to reduce the reservation time to less then 28 days which is where the long term policy applies.
Airbnb support failed to change my reservation date with no clear response and then later on blaming the host who should consent the change.
It has been 5 whole days talking to Airbnb support over the phone and through messages to discover that when somebody book a stay for more than 28 days the cancellation policy automatically change to a strict one which you will never notice and now the “SUPPORT” team send me articles to back up their policy which you may never know they didn’t send any notification or pop up message when reserving the apartment to let me know about this rule
Moreover, I asked to change the reservation date to be one week less that is 26 days which is my right and this time there is no article that forbids this it’s been three full days and the SUPPORT team didn’t resolve this knowing that they’ve took 15% of my reservation fee as that is 300$ to support my reservation and yet I’m not getting the chance to change my dates.

Access issue
The application lately opens everything except the explore page(main), no response!! I tap search button but nothings happens and no keyboard to write, also tried to tap on other options in the explore page and nothing works !

I am rating You 1 star for letting such an unprofessional team like airsorted to merge with you....can’t see anyth more stupic than this company...so disappointed and regretting letting them enter our life.

They stole my money
Their support agent approved and confirmed to me a booking with host that was fraud and scammed me into paying the money and stole me. After they stole my money, their support agency never answers and keeps shutting down our conversation. Please be aware of this application! Their support community are frauds and they scam you into paying to a fraud reservations.
