Your favorite air purifier just got smarter! Now with the user-friendly AirDoctor app, you will be able to receive real time air quality alerts and information, customize air purification settings, and receive filter change alerts while being able to shop for new filters in the app. Our connected experience was designed to make controlling your AirDoctor as easy and convenient as possible.

 

From anywhere in the world, you can turn your purifier on/off, adjust the fan speed, and or set your purifier on a schedule. Upon setting your location, you will be able to view real time information regarding the air quality in your area including temperature, humidity, pollen count, PM count, ozone, and the air quality index reading. Complementing our most beloved feature, the air quality sensor, our app dashboard displays your indoor air quality by the day or week. The app also gives you collaborative control so that you can share the unit with your family and friends. Additionally, if you have multiple machines, the app is ideal to manage them all, giving you revolutionary experience of control.

### *---- "Just terrible"
TLDR - good purifier, terrible app, save money and buy the one without the app access. 

This app is awful! We have the small and the large unit. The large unit STILL (6 months) won’t show particle count, though the small one does. I emailed the company to see if it’s broken and they said it’s a known issue for that model and they are working on it… but they still advertise it as a feature and take full price from buyers! I’ve had this issue for 6 months - but reading the reviews, it’s been going on for over a YEAR!! They say they are working diligently to fix it in replies - if it’s been over a year exactly what work are you doing?! 

All the app really does is allow you to change the speed from your phone. No schedules or anything convenient. 

And after you make one change to the speed, the screen dims and it spins and freezes up. I have the force quit the app and reopen it to change the speed again or go look at the other purifier. 

It also makes you log back in every week because the “token” expires. Only backend engineers use the term token - end users don’t. They make you two factor authenticate via email every week. What security risk is there?! Someone may hack my password and change my purifier air speed - how scary? Just let the app stay signed in or use Face ID - it’s not a bank account, but its security is more annoying than any of my bank apps. 

I recommend saving some money and buying the non smart version. The app isn’t smart, so buying the other model is smarter.

### *---- "Poor Customer Support with app charting not working"
Charting for the 3500i doesn’t work after 3 weeks of use of my Dec 2024 air doctor purchase. Contacted customer support twice to troubleshoot and they were unable to resolve but said they’d be in touch in 3 biz days which has passed. Frustrating experience. Caveat emptor, buyer beware!

Please add support for 3rd party platforms like Matter, HomeKit or Alexa. Anything to integrate into home automations.

The data in the app is used as a selling point for the more expensive “smart” devices, yet this feature doesn’t even work. We’ve had 3 AirDoctors for a week now and none of them populate any particle data in the app. Multiple other reviews like this and they just respond to contact customer service. No, you just need to fix your broken application for your extremely expensive products.

The app worked fine at first but I had to reset my password because I forgot it.  When I did, it asked me for an OTP code which I’ve never had to do before and don’t have AirDoctor on my authentication app, so I’m unable to log back in now.  I was able to change my password on the website but it didn’t communicate back to the app and I still can’t access and control my units.  Makes no sense to require that level of security for an air purifier and they didn’t implement it correctly by failing to notify users with the instructions on how to get the QR code to link back to the auth app.  I called customer support and they couldn’t help me, I’m doubtful anyone will call me back, we will see.  Shouldn’t release an app unless it’s fully baked.

### *---- "3 Weeks & No Data In Charts"
We have the 3500 and the 2000 in two separate areas of our home. We have consistently kept them on auto for the past two weeks with one or two occasions where we turned the fan on high. There have been NO updates to the particle count throughout the past 3 weeks. We can see temperature, humidity, etc… But nothing in the charts. I would not “upgrade” the the smart air doctors because you’re not getting any additional info at all, just the ability to adjust the settings remotely, which really doesn’t matter much for our accessibility.

The only reason I bought the Wi-Fi connected 3500 was so that I could create schedules via the app where the device will turn on and off at certain times (I prefer not the run it 24/7) and after downloading, I see there’s no way to do this. You can control the device from the app but no way to create schedules or automations. Disappointed

terrible app…..need better particle graph….
and the app is boring to use….slow to pull up graph information  is useless because there is no scale or color code to see what it is trying to tell me
put some fun and colors into it

my dyson had a better app but not happy with the purifier
