The new Airzone Cloud App allows you to control your air conditioning system with Airzone from your smart devices. Now you can also control your Aidoo devices from the same application.

With Airzone Cloud you no longer need the remote control of your air conditioner or heating.

From your sofa or bed, at your office or while strolling at the park, the Airzone Cloud app lets you control the AC using your smart devices. Turn the air on or off and adjust the temperature in each room separately for maximum comfort with great savings. 

See if you left the AC on in any room, check the temperature where your child is sleeping. Airzone Cloud App leaves all control at your fingertips, anytime and anywhere.  

Easily create time schedules on a specific day or for the whole week and say goodbye to hassling with complicated AC remotes.

I like the app overall but have (2) issues that I’d like to see addressed at some point.  When I set my ductless split heat pumps to a certain temperature, a few moments later the setpoints automatically change to 83f.  I believe this is just a visual issue within the app for me because the units maintain my desired temperature.  The other issue is that I’d like to see a wider selectable temperature range in the app.  For instance, when I’m traveling I’d like to set my heat temperature setpoint lower than the allowable range.

Can’t get it to do what I want ever. 

I’ll set it to 72 in the morning and I’ll wake up and it will be 66 degrees and set to cold. When intuitively it should be set to heating.

Please fix disconnection issue with units. its a hassle having to reconnect units every 2 weeks or so. we changed the wifi controllers and the techs have been to our building at least 5 times. They have tried everything in their knowledge and have come to the conclusion that the app needs to function better. Please fix.

The UI is very sluggish and constantly waits for “loading” indicators that block interaction, I have to log back in fairly frequently, and controls are often very difficult to find. One example: moving a minisplit from one group to another is hidden under “sort zones” in a submenu. Another example: setting a target temperature in a way that doesn’t switch from heat to AC the moment it goes 1 degree over the target required finding the unit by MAC address instead of name in a seemingly unrelated part of the app. Adding units is fiddly and unreliable; most recently I stood on a step ladder to hold my phone right next to the thing I was trying to add, isn’t Bluetooth supposed to have a 9 meter range not a 9 centimeter range? Error messages are often obtuse (why is the button for acknowledging an error labeled “agree”??)

But, it does get the job done, and basic tasks are relatively convenient once you figure out setting things up the way you want them.

### *---- "One of the ugliest apps"
Getting a heat pump and being forced to switch to this app and UI over Ecobee feels like a punishment. The app is not only difficult to use but also unpolished. In the USA, numbers should use periods for decimals, not commas, and terms like “tariffs” are unfamiliar to most users here.

It also doesn’t integrate with HomeKit, which is a major disappointment. Visually, the app is unpleasant, and it feels like no real effort was made to ensure it works well for consumers. It gives the impression of being a bare minimum viable product.

This likely stems from Airzone primarily catering to HVAC businesses, which then impose this system on their customers. As a result, there seems to be little concern for the end-user experience or UI design.

If a company recommends switching your system to Airzone and using this app, I’d strongly advise approaching it with skepticism.

I very much hate paying to upgrade my system for the app based experience to feel like such a downgrade.

Note to Airzone about your bad practice of sending generic replies about emailing support because your app is terrible:

 If you’re planning to respond with a generic answer asking me to contact support, don’t bother. I’ve already seen countless reviews that corroborate my experience. Write a real response explaining what you plan to do to make the app better. How are you going to address this? Are you going to send me a link to a better, more polished app with an improved UI? No, so explain here instead what you can help me with. Other folks would like to hear it too.

### *---- "Incompetence knows no bounds"
This is one of the worst apps ever. The developers of this app seem unable to understand how schedules work, which is confusing given that’s a key feature.

Issues include not respecting schedules (turns on or off randomly), not being able to set schedules at all (they don’t seem to understand the difference between Am/Pm), and worse the inability to set a temperature below 6X degrees as well as confusion between C and F.

Stay away, buy Kumo cloud instead.

After a year of use, The app is user friendly, however support is via email only, no live chat or contact numbers. Scenes can’t be added to iPhone shortcuts, requiring app access for activation which makes it pointless. Devices randomly disconnect, showing “offline” or “A/C unit not connected” despite updates and stable Wi-Fi across two houses.

Somehow this app doesn’t have basic features. Support is useless too. Get a system that uses a different platform.

I’d like to override the schedule temporarily and just set my system to something else. Well you’ll have to disable every schedule you’ve set in order to do that. Add a “hold” mode so I can just override my schedule easily. 

Again, temperature limits. My wall thermostat has no limits, but the app does. Ridiculous. It’s MY HVAC UNIT. If I want to destroy it and set it to 50F, that’s my problem. I literally have to block Airzone from the wifi to get around these stupid restrictions.

I had the old app and was forced to update to this one. Now one of my splits won’t connect and is no longer responding to the remote either. 

The in app support provides me no help and I cannot find anywhere to call or email to get help. I am extremely disappointed.

Reliable and easy to use. I have been using this app for almost a year on multiple devices with no issues at all and I love their scheduling design, night and day compared to kumo cloud and some other app I have used in the past.

### *---- "It works -Single mode only"
Installed on a Mitsubishi split air with three zones. The app will not switch modes from a/c to heat. 
Tried the following multiple times:

Site level mode switch, set point, fan selected, the head units still remain on AC mode not heat. Tried with all units on and all units off as well as single head units. 

Tried to change modes one head zone at a time, every one stubbornly stays in current mode.

Instructions are pathetic, YouTube video is without comment and of course shows that this works.

The lowest heat setting on my Mitsubishi mini-split is 61, but the app won’t go lower than 67.  Also, it occasionally jumps the temp up to 83 all by itself.

I reached out to the email address I saw in other reviews and also sent a message through your website.  No response to date.

After 6 months of using the interface for Mitsubishi Heavy Industry and this app, I am very pleased with the results. So far I didn’t have any problem with it. I monitor my AC from every where, I travel a lot, so for me to be able to change the temperature, speed of the fan from a distance is essential. 
Well done job here on this app as well as the interface for the AC.

The support folks have become much more responsive and helpful. Things are now working as they should. They rolled out a firmware update that seems to have helped stabilize the adapter. They also suggested that I improve my network in order to give the adapter a better connection.  So far, all seems to be much better and more reliable. 

   <<Please be aware that if you are an individual, you will get inadequate support at best when you need it. I literally just received another message indicating that I need to go through an HVAC technician to deal with their product. This is problematic for several reasons. This product can be purchased by any individual on Amazon. It can also be purchased through HVAC distributors that don’t ask if you are a licensed technician. Further, the HVAC technician that I hired had no idea how to install the product. I ended up doing it myself. But let’s say you have this product and it doesn’t work or you need help with it, you can’t simply get support on your own like you can for most of the products you buy. You’ll have to make an appointment with your technician and pay their fees to help you resolve unit issues. It also seems that there is a disconnect among those replying to emails and message. Some support staff attemp to try to be helpful. While others simply disregard your problems, if you are not a technician. It appears that Arizona’s issues are either one of or combined: Poor product design Poor app, design, and execution Lack of adequate number of support staff to handle consumer issues So, if you are going to buy this product, just go in with open eyes.>>

### **--- "It works… Sometimes"
I am using this app to connect to an Aidoo and control a third party thermostat. Two days after finally getting it to work, the app stopped functioning properly.  I was notified of an update.  Installed it. It worked for a day. And once again, the app is broken. 

Due to the limitations of my system, I don’t have any other options. I love the idea and promise of the Airzone and its app.  But it just really isn’t ready for prime time. It’s simply disappointing.

### *---- "Does not work properly with a smart thermostat"
Does not work properly with a any thermostat most functions that were supposed to be released like duel fuel capabilities are not there. The only way this works ok is if you use their App to control your unit. My recommendations Buy any smart thermostat and use the Mitsubishi thermostat interface you will not have all of the VRF benefits but at the End you will be able to control it better and Comfortable for you.
