Aladdin Connect® allows you to monitor and control your garage door from anywhere. The Aladdin Connect® app works with any Genie Wi-Fi-enabled garage door opener or retrofit kit and can be set up in minutes.  The app controls up to 20 garage door openers or retrofit kits and allows you to do the following:

• Open or close the door from your smartphone
• Check whether the door is open or closed from anywhere, using your smartphone
• Get notified if your door is opened or closed and customize notifications
• Add up to 20 family or guest users and get notified when they operate the door 
• Set up rules to automatically notify you or close the garage if the garage door is open at night or open for a long time.
• Connect to leading smart home and voice platforms

The Aladdin Connect app is really nice app. The information it provides and the other apps it interfaces with provide a greater sense of security. Very easy to check if garage is left open from phone. The Amazon interface is great when it works. I would have given 5 stars but my doors constantly go off line and become disabled. I go thru the checklist and all is correct, I reset the garage door and everything works. In the very near future the door becomes disabled again.  No further help on the website.

So it does what it's suppose to......  My only complaint is it logs you out every so often and it's usually at an inconvenient time like when you are trying to pull in while driving your car.    So then you have to stop, relog into the app to get it going again.

Have had this system for years now. Works well, aside from some random connectivity issues over the years. Sometimes they’re easy to correct, others take some time resetting everything multiple times. Overall a good product and way cheaper the replacing a motor with these functions built in.

When I’m carrying things and I open the phone to open the garage door app, the tell us what you think pop-up is in the way. I stretch my thumb and hit NO and it opens a place to leave a comment.  My comment is pop-up away from control buttons; it’s an infuriating UI tactic, and as a UI programmer, making your customers unable to do the one thing this is supposed to do-make this more convenient- you failed and upset a customer.  Good job
