Tons of lectures - no annoying music!
What an amazing idea!! I’ve listened to anything i could by Alan Watts for years, and to have it all together in such a beautiful and accessible format is so needed and perfect. Thank you so much for all the hard work that went into this app!!! ☸️🪷🥰
This Alan Watts app includes many of his most inspired deliveries, and my curiosities never end. I listen every day, sometimes several hours before sleep or when I want to get into a more esoteric mind state, and it works every time.
I could listen to Alan endlessly. He offers a rest stop along this busy highway we call life. He’s my top three go to people when I need an escape from the collective unconsciousness.
A must listen if you are even remotely interested in expanding your mind and opening your thinking to new levels!
Another reviewer made a similar remark, but I wanted to say the same thing. I purchased the complete set in August of 2020 and no longer have any access to it. This is rather upsetting. I do see it’s a different app developer, but if there was some complications with copyrights, please clarify. The logo looks similar to the old collection, so I am assuming it is still the same owner. Bummer it is locked behind a subscription service.
Alan Watts has brought me so much joy in the last few years, and this app is an excellent way to experience him.
What is my role? Who is in charge? Who am I? Really? Listening to Alan Watts’ recordings will undeniably lead to wrestling with these questions. The answer may seem obvious for those that are still “asleep” - a bit more obscure for those that are in the process of “waking up”. Although Alan Watts’ teachings don’t answer the question, “who am I really?”, outright - at least, in the definitive way that human beings naturally aspire - the selection of audio & video recordings presented by the Alan Watts Organization turn the bout of pondering these questions into a dance, helping people learn to be comfortable when we don’t know - and daring not to speak when we do.
The way he articulates complex subjects of eastern wisdom philosophy in a way that can be digested by westerners is a true gift. He brings a clarity and understanding that I have struggled to find in other teachings.
Great!
