The only knock I have on the app is that you need jumplists to get through all of them. Really long lists on a phone need a way to quickly skip ahead and this doesn’t have a way to do it. But the quick ability to tap what I have and it shows me what to make is fantastic. Really well done. The UX is a little weird in that I have to keep remembering not to hit back, but it works really well.
I purchased the app and am enjoying it. My only issue is that it continues to add Trama Root to my list when in the lab, whether I leave it out or when I make sure it's not checked.
This used to be one of the most useful apps when playing Skyrim, I could select an ingredient, then pick an effect and see what other ingredients to combine with to get that effect. It does not appear to work anymore for what I used it to do, one can argue "well then its just a cheater app", well there are plenty of websites that do the same thing and even know a guy who wrote one himself. I will not even go into the other stuff that I found that made me think this once wonderful app has gone to hell. This is about as disappointing as when Lutz sold Reflector to RedGate. Im uninstalling and moving on.
I originally wrote a post without going through the entire app first. You do have all the DLC ingredients and that truly made my day (click on settings to add the DLC one) thank you thank you and as promised, I reviewed with 5 stars! I hope when Bethesda comes out with the next elder scrolls your team will create another app. I will buy that one too!
I Honestly think this is a great alchemy guide!
Allows sleek and easy look up of ingredients. Further allows the user to maximize ingredients for both gold and experience. Highly recommended.
There are better, cheaper ones.
...my only suggestion is that Dawnguard ingredients get added to the upgraded version. Other then that, this is the "cheat sheet" that made me the boss of potions & poisons in Skyrim. Made lots of LEGITIMATE septims this way :).
This is a handy app, however, it really should support the ingredients made available from the DLC to make it truly useful.
