## AlcoGrip Description
AlcoGrip is the no-nonsense alcohol tracker for iOS. Using AlcoGrip, you can keep track of your alcohol consumption via your phone, directly via your Apple Watch, or straight from your home screen or lock screen. Add your own drink presets or add consumptions manually, and gain insights in your alcohol usage. AlcoGrip automatically groups your consumptions in sessions, and you can see the consumptions you logged in the past 24 hours, week, month, or since the start of the year. AlcoGrip will also remind you to keep logging your consumptions, since thinking about an app is the last thing you want to do when you're enjoying some beverages. AlcoGrip can also integrate with Apple Health and Shortcuts, and provide data about your consumptions.

AlcoGrip does not require any subscription or in-app purchases to work, once you got the app - it's yours forever.

AlcoGrip includes:
- iPhone widget for your home screen, lock screen, and smart stack - track your session, last 7 or 30 days, or year-to-date at a glance
- Apple Watch complication in circular, rectangular, and corner styles
- Edit any logged consumption to fix its time, drink, or notes
- Swipe a logged drink in your history to log it again with the current time
- Favourite your most-used drinks and search by name to keep your collection manageable
- Smarter reminders that mention which drink you logged and let you log again in one tap
- Integration with Apple Health
- Integration with Shortcuts
- iCloud sync to store your data on all your devices
- Automatic grouping of consumptions in sessions
- Manual consumption entry
- Consumption entry based on manageable drink presets, based on a single alcoholic component or multiple alcoholic components
- Insights into your alcohol consumptions
- Set limits on your consumption (consumptions, standard units or grams of alcohol) per day, 7, or 30 days
- See your consumption in standard drinks (definitions for multiple countries are available, as well as a custom option)
- Companion app for Apple Watch to log consumptions from your wrist
- Automatic reminders to help you keep logging your consumptions
- Export functionality

## AlcoGrip Reviews in United States

### ****- "Needs Watch complications"
This does nearly everything I need it to do except I’d like a complication for the watch that shows current number of standard drinks and when tapped provides a quick way to log a consumption. I made a shortcut and set my action button on Apple Watch Ultra to log a drink, but it really needs to be quicker and more discreet with less taps and no dings that are distracting and let others know you’re tracking your drinks.

### ***** "Great App but…"
The app works great and syncs with Apple Health perfectly. I really like the interface and the functionality One thing I can’t believe though is that there aren’t any default categories for drinks. When entering anything you have to start from scratch and create a “wine” or “beer” category and then create a specific drink. I can handle creating the individual drinks, I like the idea of tracking specific brands and alcohol contents

### ***** "Sought after essential app"
We needed an app that helped me track the number of drinks I consume but sadly we also need an app that tracks Alcohol by volume. This app only tracks the number of drinks, not the alcohol by volume. Please consider adding this feature as it would result in more sales for you.
-- MusicalconnoisseurX3, 2025-01-13

### ***** "Best Alcohol tracker in appstore"
Thank you for a great tracking app. I accidentally found it from your reddit post and realized that it is the best alcohol tracking app after trying multiple others.
Definitely waiting an update!
It would be perfect if you could add a simple widget with drink presets icons that you can click on and add a consumption in one click without opening an app.
And you need to add a button for tips.
-- Tecovirimat, 2024-01-27

### ****- "Amazing app with just one issue"
I love this app! Great to use on the watch and syncs with Apple health. However, I really wish that it would log the standard drinks drank instead of just counting all different types of drinks as one. It shows you in the app how many standard drinks you’ve had based on the alcohol percentage in the drinks but it doesn’t record that number to Apple health.
-- SojoJetty, 2023-11-29

### *---- "Developers Abandoned This App"
This app no longer syncs with Apple health. And it seems that the developer has completely abandoned the app. DO NOT PURCHASE.
