## AL.com Reviews in United States

### *---- "B"
Should Not charge to view obituaries!
-- Bec-key, 2026-09-29

### *---- "Why AL.com sucks"
The so called news outlet has become such a liberal slanted propaganda arm for the Democratic party, that I take everything it says with a grain of salt. And wanting the reading public to pay for access is laughable. You already have ads. When the pop up comes up wanting the reader to buy a subscription, I instantly look for the story on the other local “TV outlets” website or app. Take note of CNN. You will have to come more to the middle, if you want to survive.
-- born2gun, 2026-09-25

### *---- "Advertiser review"
Advertisers should consider subscription required to view
-- Un##happy, 2026-09-06

### ***-- "AL.com"
I’m not loving the new layout. I’d like to see all the headlines on one page. Then I can click on the ones I want to read. Right now I have to do too much scrolling and swiping. Look at the WSJ or other newspapers.
-- Bhamedwards, 2026-09-05

### *---- "Sad"
It seems by reading previous reviews you have gone to blocking stories to demand subscriptions to read the articles most wanted. I liked being able to read high profile stories as well as small columns. But is it really worth the cost? So far I’ve chosen not to subscribe. Sad.
-- ItsmeAgain567, 2026-09-03

### ***** "Our State"
I sure enjoy your articles about what’s going on in our state.
Thank you.
-- bb from bama, 2026-09-01

### *---- "Content"
AL.com is so Left Leaning there is no way I would ever pay for the content that blurred. My friends have expressed the same views. Balance your coverage and you may get more subscribers. Not everyone hates Trump and Republicans and I’m not a huge Trump fan either. Carol Robinson is basically the only person that I read on AL.com that seems normal. Thank you for listening.
-- WKW82, 2026-08-25

### *---- "Waste now"
Use to be a good app to stay up on local news but now charge for almost every story not worth it, I guess they are not getting enough ad sponsors
-- Bama17, 2026-08-25

### ***** "Boo!"
I used to enjoy reading everything but now that you are charging to read most articles I’ve almost decided to delete my app. Plus football season is here and it will be nothing but football from start to finish. Block those articles!
-- marcias account, 2026-08-21

### *---- "Subscription Etc"
I have no interest in paying for a subscription. I don’t know why you can’t just use ads like most everyone else. Also I really don’t like now having all the sports related articles all grouped under “Sports”. This needs to be broken out into smaller groups. I continue to look for other ways to get sports information.
