App users can send photos, six second video, text descriptions, and locations of suspicious people or activities. From the home screen, users have two easy options for contacting RT Police: * The “Report an Issue” button allows users to send text or photos directly to RT. To ensure discretion, the camera flash is automatically disabled when photos are taken through the app. When reporting an issue, users can select locations and report categories to assist RT Police. Riders can also send reports anonymously if they chose. * The “Call RT Police” button will connect customers directly to RT Police. The application is designed for robust operation even under conditions of poor signal strength. If you send a report from an area without cellular/Wi-Fi connectivity, it will be stored and sent when connectivity returns. The system is also designed to send text descriptions before photos so that the police can get information as quickly as possible. Additional Features: BOLO (Be On the Look Out) Alerts. BOLO Alerts on Alert SacRT may display alerts from RT Police about specific persons of interest. For example, RT may display information about a missing person or child, such as where they were last seen. If you see a person from a BOLO, immediately call 9-1-1 and send an app report to RT discreetly. Help keep RT safe, "See It - Hear It - Report It." ## Alert SacRT Screenshots - [Screenshot 1](https://is1-ssl.mzstatic.com/image/thumb/PurpleSource211/v4/12/0f/18/120f1810-39da-6e7b-5b75-9a66bd7bd901/877419a0-5379-4a72-a277-83fe9d1fcd9e_Simulator_Screenshot_-_iPhone_15_Pro_Max_-_2024-04-09_at_10.59.30.png/1242x2688.png) - [Screenshot 2](https://is1-ssl.mzstatic.com/image/thumb/PurpleSource211/v4/b8/b7/58/b8b75833-11d1-ceba-8578-8af3bf3cf286/b18858b3-ce1c-44b7-ba98-cfc3c498aa87_Simulator_Screenshot_-_iPhone_15_Pro_Max_-_2024-04-09_at_10.59.33.png/1242x2688.png) - [Screenshot 3](https://is1-ssl.mzstatic.com/image/thumb/PurpleSource211/v4/ac/41/cb/ac41cb2b-af48-5c61-cf1e-9e647e77d4e8/291ae16c-d219-4823-bfdb-314ef40c836e_Simulator_Screenshot_-_iPhone_15_Pro_Max_-_2024-04-09_at_10.59.36.png/1242x2688.png) ## Alert SacRT Rating Breakdown in United States - 5 stars: 732 (73%) - 4 stars: 126 (13%) - 3 stars: 56 (6%) - 2 stars: 23 (2%) - 1 stars: 71 (7%) ## Alert SacRT Reviews in United States ### ***** "Elder" Regional Transit Police, need to use the Loud Public Speakers, and Customer Service can Answer questions distracting bus drivers and road rage (who ever heard a passenger bus without cruse control, gps?). -- GreatGrandDaddy, 2025-09-30 ### *---- "No help whatsoever" I had a situation where a young man verbally assaulted me and was threatening to cause physical harm. I sent in a report and a video and police was supposed to meet me at CRC light rail station and they did not. They called me but never address the situation and no police showed up. If you try to call to follow report, you are wasting your time. They will do absolutely nothing. -- Cohs supervisor, 2024-10-24 ### ***** "Doing what’s right" It’s nice to be able to do what’s right in a discrete manner. It’s a start to combating involuntary drugging as well as so many other things. -- Doing what’s right, 2024-07-05 ### *---- "Useless" Alerts for service disruption are never timely and often do not happen at all. There have been several times I’ve waited at light rail stations for trains that never come only to find out from bus drivers or other service workers that the trains are not running. I will check the app for more information, but no alerts have been issued. -- RK1272, 2024-02-06 ### *---- "Management Does not follow up on complaints completely" RE: to removal to Bus stop removal and the sign…. -- W.J.Taylor, 2023-06-30 ### ***** "SacRT" Good information easily accessible from your app -- Sacramento Rick, 2022-01-05 ### ***** "Great service!"
