There is no cure for food allergies, so it is important to recognize and avoid any ingredient that may cause serious allergic reactions or adverse effect on health. The FDA imposed regulation on food manufacturers to include any major food allergens on food labels to help allergic consumers identify offending foods or ingredients. However, there are food products that may have undeclared allergens so consumers must read the ingredients list thoroughly. With Alertrak, consumers can take the guesswork out of checking food labels and save time. The app allows consumers to pick their food preferences for ingredients they want to avoid. Have a medical condition such as diabetes? Choose diabetes as the medical condition and ingredients to avoid and Alertrak will help find the information that matters. Just simply scan the barcodes at the grocery store, and the app will inform users if the ingredients on labels show a match with users’ food preferences. For many consumers, it is not idealistic to avoid all processed food products. Alertrak is a great tool in promoting better health management for consumers. ## Alertrak Rating Breakdown in United States - 5 stars: 8 (62%) - 4 stars: 0 (0%) - 3 stars: 0 (0%) - 2 stars: 1 (8%) - 1 stars: 4 (31%) ## Alertrak Reviews in United States ### **--- "Requires signing up for an account" I couldn’t understand why so many permissions, but thought I would give this app a try to see if it was effective and if it were effective I could decide if I could deal with the high level of permissions granted when using this app. I couldn’t even get anywhere in the app- the app immediately begs for my email to create an account. That should be very clearly stated in the description. I have zero interest in yet another account, just to use an app. -- specialappssk, 2024-09-09 ### *---- "App no longer working" I have tried everything to get the Alerttrak app to work; even to deleting it and downloading it again. Help!! -- Garrett's Papa, 2024-03-10 ### ***** "Useful food allergy tool" Easy to use to scan product and see if there are ingredients matching my settings. Alternative products were helpful as well. Highly recommended. -- Phung Le, 2021-05-27 [View all Alertrak reviews and detailed analytics on AppTail](https://app.apptail.io/signup?utm_campaign=ai-crawl&utm_content=reviews) ## Apps Similar to Alertrak - [Latitude Food Allergy Care](https://apptail.io/app/latitude-food-allergy-care-yzB/united-states) - [FoodToGood](https://apptail.io/app/foodtogood-ATG/united-states) - [dtect - Food & Product Scanner](https://apptail.io/app/dtect-food-product-scanner-BYpb/united-states) - [#GotYourBack](https://apptail.io/app/gotyourback-ElCb/united-states) - [Belay - Manage Food Allergies](https://apptail.io/app/belay-manage-food-allergies-FlCb/united-states) - [Gut Logic](https://apptail.io/app/gut-logic-HgSb/united-states) - [Food Alert: Avoid allergies](https://apptail.io/app/food-alert-avoid-allergies-QGrc/united-states) - [Eatiquette | Food Discovery](https://apptail.io/app/eatiquette-food-discovery-VGrc/united-states) - [Your Food Intolerance](https://apptail.io/app/your-food-intolerance-ZnPd/united-states) - [Peanut Allergy](https://apptail.io/app/peanut-allergy-tvee/united-states) ## Alertrak Available In - [United States](https://apptail.io/app/alertrak-zGrc/united-states) - [India](https://apptail.io/app/alertrak-zGrc/india) - [Canada](https://apptail.io/app/alertrak-zGrc/canada) --- ## About AppTail [AppTail](https://apptail.io) is a mobile app intelligence platform providing app analytics, ASO (App Store Optimization) tools, keyword tracking, competitor analysis, revenue estimates, and review monitoring for iOS App Store apps.
