Don’t buy this app. The original Anki has far superior organization and functionality and is actually free (desktop) or much cheaper (mobile) than this. The original implements a clear and transparent spaced repetition algorithm, and this one doesn’t.

I’ve been using this flashcard app and it’s great for studying on the go! The user interface is clean and the card management is efficient, making it easy to organize and review material. However, it would be even better if there was a widget feature similar to the ‘Look Up Dictionary’ app. Having the ability to quickly review flashcards directly from the home screen would greatly enhance the learning experience and make it even more convenient for daily practice.

Would definitely recommend choosing the original anki mobile flashcards. It costs even less and will be just a one time payment. Also the original app is much more flexible, you can literally customize anything (which may seem too complicated, but eventually worth it). Also the SRS algorithm there makes much more sense, as it keeps you reviewing older cards to make sure you still remember them, unlike this app, which basically buries the card right as you press “easy” button several times.

### *---- "get the original anki application if you can afford it"
This app is functional. I fully finished reviewing a French deck with it and it was alright. However, if you can afford the original anki application, avoid this app. Here are my reasons:

1. Deck organization system is glitchy. Sometimes decks glitch out when you move or remove them.

2. You can’t export decks from this app to other spaced-repetition apps. There used to be a page on their website to facilitate the process. Now, it’s taken down.

3. Remember, you can only do 100 reviews per day with the free version. I think the limit is perfectly okay. What is not okay is them not mentioning this important limit in their app store’s description. You are reminded of this limit once you get close to it, which means you most probably have already spent a lot of time importing your favorite decks and you’re already invested in the app.

4. Name theft. They make new users mistakenly think this is the actual anki application while it is not. I was one of those users. Their deceptive attitude is simply inexcusable.

I love this app but its in app purchase is stupid. I spent so much time on this app until i got a popup saying Anki unlimited and now when i want to use the app and review my Japanese flash cards i cant because i need to pay FOR UNLIMITED REVIEWS!!!!! I love the app but please stop this pay feature.
