Not the real Anki app
This is a knockoff of the real Anki app. Crashes a lot and is slow.
Really good for medical students
Best active recall study system. Really good for memorizing physiology and anatomy. I use it every day and it is literally carrying my grades.
Stolen name leads to confusion
I thought you guys were related to Anki, which is a desktop application, but it appears you just hijacked their name and brand recognition and have nothing to do with them. Pretty disgusting, deleting. Recommend you get your own name and not piggyback off of someone else's...
Works great— but is stolen
-2 stars for using the name of the Anki app to benefit from another creators hard work. Otherwise it works great. Just bought the legitimate AnkiMobile app to support the original creator and a higher quality product.
Loving so far
Using this app to learn a language and one suggestion I have is the addition of “streaks” to track consistency. If this is a current feature I’m having trouble finding it
Imagine an app that is easy for customers to use? This one isn’t it
You need to get a degree in figuring out how things in this app work. It’s extremely unintuitive and it’s obvious that the makers did not consider how people want to use their product
Some great features, but serious issues as well.
There are some things I love about this app. I'm using it to learn Spanish. Things that work great: I can take pictures of the class notes and it will generate flashcards for me. This is huge! Also it will automatically add audio to the Spanish side of the cards so I can hear the correct pronounciation. There's are two features in ankiapp but not in ankimobile. Now the bad part. The spaced repetition system (SRS) seems broken. After a few months, 95% of my cards are graded C and none ever go up to A or B anymore. And it only gives my newer cards to review, never showing me the old ones. And really, the SRS is what these apps are supposed to be about. When I contacted customer support about this I never got a response. Killer app if they could fix that problem.
