### **--- "New update has caused issues"
Will revise my review to five stars when the below issue is resolved, currently difficult to use. 

Just updated the app to the latest version on iOS. 
The new vertically expanding text formatting UI means that when I select text on a flashcard to apply formatting to, the text entry field is so low down on the screen that the phone keyboard on the bottom third of the screen almost fully obscures the text field of the card when text is selected. 
makes it very difficult to edit the first line on a card and impossible if there’s more than that.

Love this app, but the experience of signing up with a password manager (try 1Password, to see) is horrendous. It led me to set up an unknown passowrd, which forced me to reset my password at the next login... Please fix the login/signup experience so it works with 1password, and give me a way to view my password before submitting it at login/ signup, please! Love the app otherwise.

For those confused this is not the anki you may have heard of, but a very similiar app. It doesnt let you sync with ankiweb. Not neccessarily a bad app but would appreciate a more original and less confusing name.

You can an rate on every flashcard according to your familiarity. Each set has an automatic percentage of how much you have learn. You can learn specifically the words that your are not so familiar with. You can put pictures into Flashcards. The best thing of all is it is entirely free! I honestly recommend everyone to use this app. You definitely won’t regret!

i use this app to study for a lot of different subjects and it sometimes can be hard to get the right tag on a deck and i cant find a way to delete a tag but thats my only complaint rlly,, other than that its rlly useful,, the percentage mark makes you want to improve and continue and its easy to create a deck

Great app! It would be helpful if there was a feature where your could click a card when viewing cards, maybe if you double clicked on it, it would give a quick view of your answer. Instead of going into it and then going out and then you have to scroll all the way down to find the next card. This is useful as I like to learn my cards in sequence the first time around as one card relates to the next . 👍🏼

Great learning tool. Helps you to revise until you remember - in a systematic way. 

The revision can be done actively. This means that AnkiApp can be used to help you to recall items (by posing questions you inputted) rather than passively looking over what you did. This helps you to build better recall of those items. Passive learning only helps you to put the item into your brain but it is not great at helping you to retrieve it without assistance.

AnkiApp also serves as a good formative assessment tool. It helps you to know if you really know an item. It is possible to think you know an item when in fact you don’t. You may be able to recognise an item and know what it means. However, it does not necessarily follow that you have the ability to produce the item when required. AnkiApp will provide you with feedback on your ability to produce an item.

Don't download this app. It is not the proper version of Anki. I tried to log into my old Anki account but it wouldn't let me. I tried to sync my old deck from AnkiWeb but I couldn't. 
I think this is a rip off version of the proper Anki.
