Flash cards are the best way for Active Recall (which arguably the best way to revise). Very collaborative and allows sharing with friends. Highly recommend!

AnkiApp limits you to only 100 reviews per day unless you buy the subscription (£29.99 a year or £69.99 forever), which I think is ridiculous. As a GCSE student, the amount of content I have to memorise is insane and this flashcard app limits me from being able to learn all the content in time

this app used to be free, but now they’ve added anki pro or whatever and you have a limit on how many card you review? like that’s so ridiculous, it’s an app used for studying but you can only review a certain amount of cards per day. I understand the means to make money but they were other benefits they could have added rather than removing what made the app actually usable - I won’t be updating and I’d rather just go back to Quizlet.

And to make matters worse you can’t even transfer to Quizlet, genuinely the worst app ever.

This app would be marvellous but the algorithm is totally broken and just gives you cards you marked as easy the day before over and over again, thus totally defeating the object. It’s also impossible to get an A on a card for some reason, even if you’ve marked it as easy about 7 times in a row. Massively disappointing because there are some great decks

### **--- "The premium version version doesn’t sync between different devices"
So I’ve been using Anki for over a year now and I love it so I wanted to sync the programme on my iPad however it doesn’t sync and even after I reset all the grades on my computer on the iPad it was only showing  the previous grades and in fact one of the decks just didn’t appear at all. I have iCloud back up and it says it regularly syncs but I’m confused as to why I can’t sync the two devices properly.

This app uses the brand name Anki because they know that it will attract people who are unaware that this is the non genuine app. 

Use the official Anki app either via desktop, on the internet on your phone or buying the £24.99 app! They are much much much better and have a massive community if you have technical issues.. compared to this app which has dozens of bugs and issues

The original Anki is a really amazing open source project that’s amazing ! This app was named specifically to ride the branding of the original app, confuse people and profit from it. It’s a dirty trick to take open source software and put a price tag on it.
