Dont trust these app about suppliers because they also help the farud companies on there platform, one of company fraud with me almost 8000$ and the alibab team didn’t help me about my concern, they totaly help the fraud companies, all evidence i have but still fighting for my money,
WASTE OF TIME AND MONEY
I decided to go with Alibaba to purchase the packaging for my products as it was a start-up and money was tight. You could get more bang for your buck and there was something called trade assurance. I ended up loosing $2,000+ and the 20,000 lip balm tubes and vials were ruined… so I ended up with nothing for what I spent. Who I decided to go with to mass produce and brand with my logo was not capable of screen printing my logo. Despite the mistakes they made (not waiting for my go ahead or sending me the samples I requested and they agreed to do before moving forward). They went ahead and printed a logo that was not correct in size despite creating mock ups for them being or even having the one word levelled. The letters were all over the place. SO, not only did I loose $2,000 .. I lost months and as we all know when you start a business, time is money and I have nothing to show for it despite blatant proof of how poorly of a job they did, the conversations and written and signed agreements. I did not receive a refund or any type of packaging because I had to pay an additional $4,000 that was to go towards the remaining balance and full shipping amount for 20k lip balm tubes and vials that I may or may not use (9 out of 10 were horribly screen printed) that would eventually become waste in my country. Something that goes against everything we value as a business. If you have any standards.. don’t bother.
Great app, and easy to communicate
With the time difference from me in North America and suppliers in China, it’s nice to have the app to check messages on the go and communicate with potential partners when I’m not at my computer. So far good experience. Hope it continues to be. Thx

Make sure you are clear on payment procedures. I gave a deposit for an item in good faith telling manufacturer I would have to confirm customs clearance before the purchase and when I found out that I could not receive the product without great expense ($3000+ on a $5000 item) and they kept my money. Although the bill of sale did not say the deposit was non refundable and I had correspondence with the seller stipulating the sale could only be made on those terms Trade Assurance sided with their manufacturer and I lost my $1700 deposit. I have been using this trade key site for years but have never needed a refund that the manufacturer would not come to a reasonable agreement more have I had to use trade assurance that is supposed to protect our purchase.
