After placing an order and later finding that the product did not meet the agreed expectations, I initiated a refund. Despite providing clear evidence of the issue and communicating thoroughly with the seller, the Trade Assurance team denied my request for a full refund. It was disappointing to see that, despite their claims of customer support and protection, Alibaba did not provide the level of assistance I expected. I followed all the required steps and offered to return the product, but the resolution offered was unsatisfactory. This situation has made me realize that Trade Assurance may not offer the protection it promises when disputes arise. I want to advise potential buyers to exercise caution when purchasing from Alibaba, especially if you are relying on Trade Assurance for refunds or dispute resolutions. It seems that when things go wrong, the burden of proof falls heavily on the buyer, and support may not align with expectations. Make sure to verify everything with the seller upfront to avoid facing similar challenges. This experience has left me disappointed with Alibaba’s handling of disputes, and I encourage others to be cautious when considering purchases on the platform.
