It’s really inappropriate to have people give access to banking info before advising that it costs money to use the app. I’m honestly mad. I thought maybe you got a small percentage of profit or something and that’s how it worked. Nope.

This app is a rip off. $120/year membership fee for what you get isn’t worth it. Open a free fidelity account and start doing your research on where to invest instead. If you need to cancel they make you jump through hoops and are incredibly unhelpful. Avoid this app if you can.

### *---- "Does Customer Service Even Work There?"
Signed up for trial but didn’t even finish setting up account before deciding to not proceed. Got the notification that trial was ending but because I hadn’t finish setting up my account I couldn’t cancel in-app so I emailed customer service that day (the day before trail expired) to let them know I wouldn’t be proceeding and that I couldn’t cancel in the app. I was charged anyway and 10 days later I still haven’t heard from customer service despite NUMEROUS attempts to contact them. If they are this careless and inattentive with something as small as this I can’t even imagine what they’re like when it comes to your investments. Would not recommend.

This app has so many bugs- or perhaps it’s a scam. I set up my account in October for an automation of $25 a month to be invested by the app and I log in today to see it’s just gone. All my bank details and personal info are gone!! And they charged me a non refundable $120 before I even had a chance to see if this was worth it. Very dissatisfied

### *---- "AVOID AT ALL COSTS"
I have had NOTHING but issues with Alinea and would HIGHLY recommend choosing a different app. They had no issues taking my money for investment purposes but now that I’ve sold stock and want to transfer money out? Suddenly my identity isn’t verified, suddenly there are issues connecting with my bank, suddenly I’m told there is a limit to what I can transfer out of my account despite the app itself telling me my withdrawable amount is twice as much as the limit. DO NOT give them your money. Find a different app THIS IS A NIGHTMARE! I would be shocked if I even get the money back I put in at this point. I am going to file a report with the SEC due their refusal to give me my money. Avoid at all costs.

HUGE SCAM! DONT SIGN UP FOR THE FREE TRIAL THINKING WHEN ITS OVER YOULL ONLY BE CHARGED MONTHLY. NO YOU WILL BE CHARGED THE WHOLE YEAR BECAUSE THEY FINE PRINT THAT IN ORDER TO CHANGE IT TO MONTHLY YOU HAVE TO EMAIL THEM AND THEN THEY ASK A MILLION QUESTIONS AVOIDING DOING WHAT YOU ASK. ITS A WHOLE BIG LOOP OF A SCAM.  I TRIED TO CANCEL AND THEY ARENT ALLOWING ME TO AND NOW ARE SAYING I HAVE TO WAIT 2 WEEKS AND THEN I HAVE TO CONTACT THEM AGAIN AND THEY WILL APPROVE THE CANCEL.
