The customer service takes days to respond for simple things.
Honestly they over charge insurance for services that should be charged as normal in office visits. Even with insurance cost is more than $100 per appointment which is excessive and takes advantage of those with diagnosis who are looking for support services for their needs. You are gatekeeping care from those who are desperate by over charging and requiring subscription services just to see providers. If you really want to benefit and help find solutions for those seeking your services then decrease your prices, charge as normal in office care, be reasonable about costs. Being money hungry isnt the solution to providing services. Do better.
This app does not but crash. You can barely see information before you suddenly have no connection and try again pops up. Pointless use of space.
this app is a nightmare. Constantly being billed as out of network and I’m getting charged out the wahoo. Their customer service is slow to resolve these issues. The scheduling is a mess and they often only show you 1 day in the next 2-3 months to see your provider. Considering I have to pay just for the privilege of using the app, I have to put in a lot of effort to make sure I can schedule appointments and be billed in network. I hate this app and service. my doctor is nice though. The only redeeming quality.
I really wanted to love Allara, but the experience has been poor. I’ve experienced long wait times to see a provider and have had disjointed communications with the admin team. Ultimately, today, my appointment was cancelled an hour before my scheduled time because of a significant oversight on the admin team’s part. After waiting weeks for this appointment, which I was hoping to be the first step in my provider actually making a tangible recommendation on my care plan based on my labs, I am furious. I’ve paid multiple months of membership with nothing to show for it except frustration. Excellent concept and I would love to have a real, accessible women’s health solution, but execution is not where it needs to be.
The NP I saw was dismissive and condescending. All she really asked me questions about was my weight gain, which was 3rd or 4th on my list of concerns, and ignored my main concerns completely. My “30 minute appointment” was 10 min of waiting and then 10 minutes of an actual appointment and then done. The bloodwork she ordered was very generic and not very helpful. She got several of my medical details wrong from my paperwork which I had to correct her on and then recommended I take a supplement that I’ve been on for several months and had reported on my intake. I wish I could comment on the dietician but scheduling has been a nightmare. There were 4 dates available over a 3 month period and 3/4 were on a day of the week that conflicts badly with my work schedule. When you message them for scheduling help, you get a different person responding every time and they apparently don’t read the earlier messages so after a week I still have not successfully scheduled and finally just gave up. To top it all off, the app is glitchy and terrible. It freezes and logs me out all of the time. Overall I’m out almost $600 dollars between my subscription and my deductible for my bloodwork and I’ve gotten pretty much absolutely nothing out of it besides a whole lot of frustration.
Every time I try to login, it routes back to the login screen again??? Kind of annoying and I had to delete the app just to use the website.
Allara has been a game changer for me! They are the first doctors to run advanced tests and found a few things that were causing symptoms that no one else had caught! Excited to be feeling better and finally have support I need for that.
Feel like allara is the first medical provider that has taken my hormonal health seriously in the 31 years I’ve been on this earth. I got diagnosed late via the platform with PCOS even though I have had very clear signs of issues. It’s nice to be in a place that’s eager to help resolve without just the use of medication (although they can prescribe if that’s best for you as well). Process was easy enough. You are given a doctor that will listen to you and a dietician that gives you a protocol and plan. Also love that they don’t push product sales on you if you’re not interested and are cognizant of your budget. Would recommend.
