There needs to be a way to flag dangerous and closed trails properly. Unsuspecting hikers follow routes on alltrails that have been graded incorrectly. Some system like trailfork’s trail ownership need to be implemented whereas someone with local knowledge can rate trails.
As a member of mountain rescue I’ll seriously warn against using this app. We see countless incidents every year where misleading trails result in hikers ending in dangerous areas and at times dying. We as mountain rescue are tired of picking up bodies please delete this App
I have used this app now for a month. The maps and directions to the locations are great, however, the individual trails don’t identify if the trails are on private land, or are paid access. More information I feel is required from the app team to create more clearer information on each individual trail. Otherwise, this app is good for locating trails.

Good day The application is by far the best I’ve ever used regarding hiking. However, as people share the application and hikes, it would be great if there was a feature that can allow more than one person to edit, add and contribute to a hike/post. A specific button to allow another contributor would be amazing to add.
I like the alerts when one go off the path.
