Nothing but trouble. When it works, it's great but when there's a glitch, the support team cannot resolve. 5 days and still no resolution. I had to find my own work around for partial coverage. When this prepaid session runs out I'm changing to another app.
This ALOSIM thing can work BUT you have to be a genius of cell phone sim package and be prepared to spend hours understanding the various steps to make it work. Do not attempt this unless you have lots of time, patience and deep lnowledge of cellular data packages. On top of all this, the looooong instructions to install a card use the word activate which is not the same. Help with chat is with a robot that turn in circle.
Gave it a try while travelling to Europe , network and signals were good! Great customer service while there was a redeem confusion/issues occurred, response promptly and problem resolved quickly.
I was a bit reluctant to install it, because friends had trouble with the settings, but it was surprisingly easy to install, following the instructions. The rates are extremely reasonable, compared to international prices with Canadian phone plans. I could still text using IMessage, which was great. I had no problems with coverage, including in the Italian Alps.
Have used this for all my travel. Love it.
This is the most brilliant idea and travel pal. A must for any traveller that doesn’t want to pay a high cell bill when they get home from travelling 😁
Used AloSIM in Istanbul, Greece and United Kingdom has great and stable connection. Highly recommend.
I use this app every time I travel abroad. It’s quick and easy to get some data on the go for the essential. I have used it in several countries. Customer service was always quick and really helpful the rare situations I needed them. 5 stars.
Good to have eSIMs set up for travels. Only downside is not having a local # if that is needed.
