## Alphabear Description
Alphabear 2 is an original English word puzzle game by Spry Fox, and the sequel to our hit 2015 game!

In Alphabear 2, you spell words by selecting letters on a puzzle grid. When you use letters that are adjacent to each other, bears appear! The more letters you use, the bigger the bear gets, and the more points you earn. Spelling words cleverly is the key to success!

Collect Bears:

When you solve the puzzles, you'll earn new bears for your permanent collection. These bears can team up to help you in future games! They increase the points you earn, extend your timer, modify the game board, and more.

Bear humor:

Fans of the original Alphabear will appreciate the much-improved "bear speech" -- the words you spell will appear in funny cartoons like always, but the all-new templates come with a huge variety of backgrounds and amusing props.

Built-in dictionary:

Lastly, a smart dictionary and other new features make Alphabear 2 a great way to improve your English and have fun while doing it!

So what are you waiting for? The best word puzzle game of 2018 awaits! :-)

Terms of Service & Privacy Policy:

Alphabear 2 includes a VIP Subscription offering that is billed monthly for $4.99 and grants free coins and free coffee each week, plus a 80% discount on tournament replay costs.

## Alphabear Reviews in United States

### **--- "Broken IAP"
While the game is fun, and I want to give money to the developer for the game, the in-app purchases have not worked since January 2025 and the developers are unresponsive. They do not appear to support this game any longer.
-- Squirrels are great, 2025-05-10

### **--- "Ads won’t remove"
I purchased remove ads but they still come up, and now every time I open the app I get a pop up that says « validation error » over and over again. I love the game and want to be able to play!
-- spookycookie, 2025-04-28

### ***** "Game is beyond lovely!"
So fun, has the right ratio of ads to playtime, I never feel like I’ve run out of things to do, perfect game for idle play throughout the day! And the story is so cute and endearing without feeling overbearing (get it overBEARing lol!)
-- mimikyutie18, 2025-04-17

### ***-- "What’s going on?"
I used to play this game all the time. It was fun. I opened this game back up recently, and it just shows me a white screen
no matter what I do. I have checked for updates constantly, nothing.
-- katybobaty13, 2025-04-15

### *---- "No support for bugs"
I actually love the game itself, but I’ve emailed the developers twice now to resolve an issue and received nothing but automated responses and no answers. I’ve attempted to even purchase the game to support the developers and remove ads, but I get 4 error messages every time I open the app, “purchase failed with error: validation error.” I really hate ads guys. I paid almost $8 to get rid of them and no one has gotten back to me.
-- leroy the suede, 2025-04-02

### ***** "bear is good"
bear love bear
-- jellybeansies, 2025-02-24

### *---- "Worst Support Ever!"
I’ve submitted 6 trouble tickets in the last 2 weeks - No response!

Cannot watch ads to earn coins. 3 finger swipe down does not work on my iPad. I’m afraid Spry Fox has gone the way of so many other game developers: Must pay real $ to get anything. Alpha Bear used to be my fav game but no longer. Stay away from Spry Fox - they’ll only give hours of frustration!
-- Blitzen9453290, 2025-02-13

### ****- "🙂‍↕️"
It’s great wish there were less adds though
-- HarleyQuinn😍😍, 2025-01-11

### ***** "So much content!"
I adore this game! It has so many elements, I can play for hours each day before running out of game areas to play with, especially now that I’ve finally broken down and bought the ad-free package. My one request is that the developers give us some way to sort our bears!!! It’s not so helpful to only see them by Rarity type when the Events sort them by their types and levels. It’s hard to scroll through 40 bears just to check if your celebrity bears are all upgraded before the event comes. Some kind of sorting mechanism so we can choose the order we view our bears would be great!
-- Samxye, 2024-11-18

### ***** "Spelling Tile Nerds Untie!*"
This game is pure delight. If you are someone who enjoys Boggle but can’t get anyone to play with you (spelling can be a superpower too, but less appreciated than flying or invisibility), this is your game. So much more fun, because bears. And more challenging because the tiles count down per turn, so you have to be careful about 10-letter heroics right off the bat. The goal is simple: use all the tiles on each board. But Paired with events, help-bear leveling, story mode, snappy dialogue? It is a spelling nerd’s dream. *Made you look. ;)
