At one point I was locked out of the app for 3 months and despite speaking to numerous people on the phone, the answer was that they can't help as it's an IT issue. This bank has a lot of problems, after nearly a year banking with them, none has been fixed. It lacks liquidity, your cash is impossible to access or transfer outside 9-5 on working days. Get statements on the app doesnt work. Selecting them to be posted doesnt work either. App is clunky and outdated. Like right out of 2001. And now the icing on the cake: All accounts from february must have a minimum balance of £5000. Otherwise profit is a MISERABLE 0.05% What about poor Muslims? Dont they have a right to banking and earning profit on their money? The UK is plagued by Islamic banks aimed exclusively at the rich. Poor muslims have now no alternative. Is this Sharia? You claim to follow Sharia law. What does Sharia law says about the poor and how to treat them? Thats for you to find out. I cant even close the account from the app. And im not going to call 9-5 to close an account. Ill leave it there to rot with some pennies in so you can’t legally close it and you will be forced to make it dormant. I tried to reset all my credentials and it seemed to be going okay until it just said there was an unexpected problem. After an hour I got through to the bank and I was told to download the app again and do it all again which I did and it was no different. I still received a message unexpected error. Please phone the bank telephone number. This ha now gone on for three days. And really all I want to do is tell them what to do with my savings but it’s proving to be very very difficult. I’m sorry to give you such a love score but that’s how I feel at the moment.
