## Altimeter Description
Der Altimeter+ Höhenmmesser ermittelt die Höhe deines aktuellen Standortes anhand der GPS-, Aster- oder Barometer-Messung (für iPhone 6 und neuer). Zusätzlich bietet die App eine Durchschnittsberechnung der GPS- und ASTER-Höhendaten sowie eine integrierte Map mit Gipfelanzeige, Kompass und Distanzraster.

Ich kann noch nicht viel sagen, aber in erster Linie wollte ich eine App, die die Höhe aufgrund barometrischer Daten angibt, nicht aufgrund GPS Daten und Kartenabgleich / Geländemodell….
Leider funktioniert der Abgleich auf der Ultra 1 nicht - ewiges „bitte warten“ ….

Ich verstehe die schlechten Bewertungen nicht. Das Tool ist übersichtlich, und einfach zu bedienen.
Sogar die Möglichkeit der Kalibrierung ist gegeben. Wirklich Top. Funktion auch ohne GPS - optimal.

Bisher ging es doch auch ohne Zugriff auf z. B. Fitnessdaten. Wozu? Andere liefern das ohne Datensammelei! „Danke fürs Feedback. Leider ist der Barometer unter den Fitnessdaten angesiedelt. Ab iOS17.4 leider nicht zu vermeiden. Altimeter+ nutzt aber nur die Barometerdaten und nur lokal auf dem Gerät.“ Dann sollte die Kategorie geändert/beantragt werden! Navigation wäre für mich das Naheliegendste!

### ***-- "Funktioniert nach Update wieder"
ASTER-Messung funktioniert nach dem letzten Update wieder. Was mir an der App nicht gefällt ist der Versuch auf die Fitnessdaten zuzugreifen, um das Barometer zu kalibrieren  (Zugriff von mir verweigert). Zuvor ging es auch ohne dies zuzulassen. Deshalb nur drei Sterne, sonst wären es fünf. 

Vorherige Rezession:
Ging die ganze Zeit super, jetzt zeigt die ASTER-Messung totalen Quatsch an, auch nach dem zweiten Update (in kurzer Zeit). Bitte beheben! Wir sind hier auf 210 Meter, GPS zeigt 208 Meter, ASTER allerdings 441 Meter!

Hier wird unter Bewegung & Fitness eine Freigabe auf die Bewegungs und Fitnessdaten erforderlich. Könnt ihr da noch ein Update machen? Sonnst ist es ein toller App.

Auf den Bildern ist zwar dieser Höhenmesser immer nur senkrecht gezeigt, aber ich bin natürlich davon ausgegangen, dass ich ihn auch quer in meinem Auto verwenden kann, so wie ich mein Handy als Navi auch quer verwende. Leider geht dies nicht, somit ist diese App für mich absolut sinnlos. Man hätte dies deutlich irgendwo hinschreiben müssen.

Ich nutze Altimeter seit 10 Jahren, auch beruflich. Ich konnte auch tief im Wald immer auf präzise Standortkoordinaten zurückgreifen. Notfalls einfach screenshot machen und die Daten später händisch in ein x-beliebiges Kartenprogramm eingeben. Ich bin Top zufrieden! 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼🙏🏼
