## Altimeter+ Description
The Altimeter+ altimeter calculates the altitude of your current location via a GPS, Aster or barometer measurement (for iPhone 6 and later). In addition to this, the app also provides an average calculation of GPS and ASTER altitude data as well as an integral map which shows peaks, a compass and a distance grid.

Thanks for updating. Works great on my mighty Apple Watch 4. Used this app hiking up the Sierra Nevadas but had to keep getting the iPhone out to check altitude, now the Watch version will make life easier. 😃😃😃

I purchase the app as I wanted it to work independently on my Apple Watch 3 LTE. However looking at altitude on the watch often shows a false reading which is only fixed once I calibrate the iPhone X barometer via GPS reference. There doesn’t seem to be a way to calibrate the Apple Watch barometer through forced touch, so I’m left thinking it’s just an extension of the iPhone rather than acting independently?

Doesn't seem to work with the iPhone 3G. The Aster function doesn't work and the numbers don't align properly, often overlapping each other.  The numbers that do show up bear no relation to ones altitude and the app often crashes. It's probably meant for the 3GS or 4, but I couldn't find anything to say that it was not compatible with the 3G, so I bought and installed it.  The free one I have is better by miles
