Description

If you're a musician who likes to learn new songs and techniques by listening to the same piece of music over and over but wish that the music could be played a little slower, then you'll enjoy Amazing Slow Downer.
You can repeat any section of the music at full speed, slow it down or even speed it up by changing the speed between 25% (1/4 of original speed) and 200% (double speed) without changing the pitch!
Change the tuning or musical key? No problem, Amazing Slow Downer handles that as well.
Setup seamless loops by touching the "Set" buttons during playback.
Amazing Slow Downer is the ideal tool for any musician, transcriber or dancer wanting to improve their skills.
New - Support for streaming "Apple Music" audio!
Note: Some functions such as "Pitch change" and "Equalizer" are not available when playing "Apple Music" songs.
Please note: According to Spotify, third party apps will not any longer have access to streaming Spotify content in a way that works for slowing down / pitch change audio starting September 1, 2022. This will affect Amazing Slow Downer.
This means that you should NOT buy Amazing Slow Downer if playing Spotify content is your only use of the app.
This change does NOT affect any other type of audio content that Amazing Slow Downer can play back.

Amazing Slow Downer Reviews

Perfect for learning an instrument, but..

As already said in other reviews, this is truly an excellent tool when learning to play music, well worth its money. Some of the instruction I use includes video too, so slowing down video + audio would be on the top of my wish list!

Just love this App

So good! So useful! It’s helped me learn songs and practice over and over for years. Thankyou. Love it!!

This a fantastic, highly useful, brilliant app

Whether you’re playing an instrument and trying to work out songs, or learning to sing, this app is nothing short of fantastic. It’s functions are so useful and save so much time and effort, which in turn speeds up the learning process. I love how you can load in a song and then create loops (which are saved in a list for you select and play whenever you want) This means you can focus fully on learning a song one section at a time. Master that loop and then simply select the next loop and start working on that. Also for singers you can change the pitch to suit your voice. For guitarists being able to not only slow down a riff but also have that riff looping, means you can sit there as long as you like until you master the riff. This app is what musicians in the past could only dream of and more.

No Spotify access

I used ASD to practice songs all the time. Without Spotify access the app has become useless to me.

Re-pitching

I mainly use this app to re-pitch songs that I want to play in standard tuning on my piano. I’m grateful this app exists

I love this app

This app is easy to use and allows me to slow everything right down to get everything right.

Good when works

This app is usually really good but the speed up and slow down feature (whole reason I got this) is playing up and won’t work. When it does work I highly recommend for drumming 👍

Excellent

Straightforward, simple but does everything you need, create and store loops etc as well as the usual speed and pitch. Mainly I like how big and easy the buttons are, when you have an instrument in your hands it's easy to quickly tap pause/play and quick rewind (which you can set to go back in different increments - great feature). Hopefully they don't change this aspect. You can't see the waveforms of the track but I don't think that is a problem, if anything it probably helps keep less cluttered.

I Love This App!!!!!!

I’ve uset this app for years now and it is truely AMAZING!!!

Great for ballroom dancing

ibuanne on

Australia

I use this app on my phone for dance practice, it is great for slowing down Viennese Waltz songs to New Vogue waltz speed. Also great to slow down music to practice things more slowly. I would love it if you added an option for Bars per Minute, or measures per minute, as this is how ballroom dances are measured. Pretty please!!
