No connection to Echo
The app says Echo device wifi not available. But both wifi and Echo are available. Connection doesn’t work. Echo screen works sometimes or not. Etc. Full of bugs. Don’t buy!
Unable to link anything
This app should be renamed “Unable to link skill at this time. Try again later”, as that is the only thing this app says or does. Can’t even connect to Hue lights. Utter trash.
Bravia tv Sony
Alexa heeft voor de Bravia nog steeds geen oplossing. Alexa is nog steeds niet in het Nederland. Alexa is not available in Dutch.

I was a fan until I changed my phone. Since then I I do not have a great customer experience

Wrong Language verkeerde taal
Ik woon in Nederland. Mijn eerste registratie bij Amazon was op Amazon.de. Bij het registreren van de app wordt ik naar een Duitstalige site geloodst. Dit leidt tot 2 vervelende bugs in de Alexa app. 1. Als ik de taal aanpas in de app naar ‘english UK’ dan blijft de menu taal zelf Duits. Alleen de stem van Alexa wordt Engels!? 2. Misschien de vervelendste bug. Bij het installeren van de Skills (vb. Spotify) krijg ik de bekende geographical restriction waarschuwing en wordt de still niet geïnstalleerd. Ik kan dus niets met de Alexa behalve wat vraag gesprekjes!
Werkt nu erg slecht. BUG?
Voorheen was ik erg tevreden over de Alexa app. Uiteraard was het handig geweest om het in het Nederlands te hebben, maar eenmaal aan het Engels gewend, geen enkel probleem. Helaas heb ik nu op een nieuw apparaat de grootste problemen om hem goed werkend te krijgen. Ik krijg wel antwoord van Alexa, ze zoekt Spotify wel op mijn telefoon, maar zet hem niet aan… dan kan ik net zo goed zelf gelijk Spotify openen? Reageert ook alleen maar als ik de app open, dat is natuurlijk niet de bedoeling. Ik heb de nieuwste software en updates, maar ik vrees dat dit probleem bij Alexa zit.
Alexa is geweldig
Nog niet in het Nederlands maar heb nu 3 Alexa’s in huis en heel het huis wordt er mee aangestuurd.
