Easy-to-use Parental Controls 
The Amazon Kids Parent Dashboard app is specifically designed to help parents and guardians build safe, healthy digital behaviors with their family across Amazon devices and the Amazon Kids+ subscription. Manage and customize your kids’ experiences with easy-to-use parental controls for up to 4 child profiles. Configure age-appropriate settings, set time limits, keep track of child activity, manage content, and more. The Amazon Kids+ Parent Dashboard App works with Fire tablets, Amazon Echo speakers, Kindle e-readers, Fire TV, and other mobile devices. An Amazon Kids+ subscription is not required to use the free parental tools. 

Easily adjust whenever & wherever
• Adjust parental controls from the convenience of your phone without interrupting your child’s experience.
• Pause/resume your kids' access to their device even if your kids aren’t near you.

Featured parental controls

Not out at all. There are thousands of trash applications that install onto this tablet and there is no way to do a bulk uninstall or select a clean install with base apps only.  Impossibly time-consuming to be selective about what apps your child has available And support is terrible.  Disaster.

I like that I can set my child’s tablet to only operate during certain hours and for only so many hours during that timeframe. However, what I wish I could tell was how much of that time have used so far. It really would be nice to help me to manage their expect instead of suddenly being cut off in the middle of an activity with no warning.

My son is 5 and I have every single posible block content that I can put in his tablet and always some random videos that are not age appropriate shows up. I follow all the directions to make sure my son uses his tablet for educational purposes and sometime I download his favorite shows, and then violent games or random videos get in his feed. Honestly not good at all. I give it a 2 stars because it does have some educational content but that it.

Overall we are pretty disappointed with this interface. We had hoped to be able to easily curate which apps were available for our children to use, but there does not seem to be a way to display only the apps we’ve selected - there are continually “apps you might like” being offered that the kids can click and play. Very frustrating.

Every single time I try to get a new app for my kid tells me that it’s sending me a notification for approval and I never get it so half of the things I wanna get her I can’t even get her and I think that is horrible because I bought this for a reason and I can’t even use it for that reasonbecause the Amazon kids parent dashboard does not work That’s why I’m giving it a one star I wish I could give it a zero star

Poor interface, difficult setup, too easy for kids to factory reset tablet, difficult to set daily limits or change anything. No global settings. Can’t load a basic profile in case of factory reset. Can’t stand this whole setup and will prob buy iPads for my next two kids. Just easier overall.
