Kindle latest update crashing consistently
Hi I love this app… but looks like latest update is consistently crashing on iPhone and also in ipad when trying to download already purchased ebook inside the app.
Magazine cannot be deleted
I cannot delete a copy of a magazine that is not downloading. It is first on the list and when clicking on it gives an error message every time.
Great way to collect Books
Kindle app is a great way to collect and Read Books. It never forgets here you stopped or what book you Werne/are reading.
Buggy app
Can’t delete sample books. Always stupid bugs with this app that any serious company would fix. Amazon has other priorities I guess.
Eh, is okay, could be better 🤷🏻♀️
Not the best, not the worst. Kinda annoys me that the languages you can select/the dictionaries are lacking (like why does Amazon have a Swedish webdomain if the Kindle/app itself doesn't have a Swedish language option in it??). Not to mention that whenever I send over files to the Kindle app the page counts cease to exist and the only way for me to know where I'm at in the book is through the location feature (and if you have a book that's over 100 pages the amount of locations can go up to hundreds of thousands). Aand I can't scroll on the book files that I send over... Some improvements would make this app closer to good/great/perfect!
Just as bad as the rest
It’s exactly like all the other readers, extremely barebones. You can read text on it but that’s it. Every aspect of it is designed first and foremost to be cheaper than a physical book. No design or typography, just a couple of nondescript fonts, margins and leadings to choose from. If you make the reader do the design for you, at least open the app to all system fonts. Still waiting for an e-reader that would take reading seriously and not just spit out the minimum effort possible.
Login keeps spinning forever
No idea what they have changed but it logged me out and I’ve been trying to login for 2 days but after I put my password and 2FA code it just keeps spinning and never finishes. For me it’s now completely useless.
