Ever since this app was updated a couple of weeks ago, I cannot log in. A lot of the titles in the browser cloud can only be read on the APP, so I have to always use my phone or use other means to get around it. Very inconvenient. I have tried password assistance, but it says my email address doesn't exist, which is weird, because I am logged into the cloud reader in the browser with the same account information.

Great as a reading app, but unable to remove the books.  Not all books can be removed permanently, some only got option to remove download.  And not all the books in my app are in my amazon library.  I thought I could just remove all the samples from amazon content page, but my books in the app are not listed in the amazon content page.  Even trying to multi select doesn’t help.  The samples marked all read are still unable to remove and still sitting on the app.

My eyes feel at ease when I read on this app. The fact that you can change the colour of the page to cream makes it a lot easier to read, without the bright white page shining on your eyes. There is a wide variety of fonts to choose from, and you can read with your device turned portrait or landscape. There are lots of books, and with just a single tap to pay, you can read any book you want. 

Overall, this is an amazing app and I hope to see improvements in the future!

i have a iphone 15 pro max and right now the kindle has stopped working. when the book loads, you can’t seen any words on the pages. but when u tap, you can see the zoomed out overview pages as well as the interface menus. but as long as u go back to the page it’s blank. i’ve tried to delete and install again but the problem persist. please sort this out amazon. so annoying!

Has some strange behaviours and inconsistencies with the actual kindle. Once you start highlighting you can’t seem to be able to cancel. Can’t seem to adjust/resize my highlights. Also clock displays below the notch instead of beside it, reducing already valuable vertical screen estate but not using copious amounts of space in the top corners of the screen. (Also keeps popping up asking me to write a review.)

I have been using Kindle on Mac for years.

It was great but the latest update and UI refresh completely destroyed the reading experience.

Note that I am running this app on a M1 MAX 32 GB Macbook Pro.

Scrolling is very laggy compared to before.

Using two fingers to try and highlight ends up scrolling the page accidentally.

It's very very hard to highlight/select the text now, not sure why.

Highlighting is super laggy.

On the whole the app just feels buggy and laggy, the menus sometimes don't appear etc.

Please fix these soon or bring back the old UX in the meantime.
