Amazon Music: Songs & Podcasts

Having issues with the ap shutting down sporadically. Did all the updates. It’s been happening for months now. Off to the next music ap.

It’s great that it has less ads for podcasts but you have to wait 15 seconds to 2 minutes for it to start anyways. App is actually pathetic

Title says it all

Have added over 100 songs to a playlist somewhere and it’s not to be found any where. What’s going on????

I just got this free for a 5 month trial and so far we prefer to use the free YouTube music app with ads. Or pay for YouTube music. The algorithm it picks as a playlist after you select one song is awful. Other apps like apples or YouTube’s when you put one song in it then generates all great plays lists following that song. Amazon music isn’t there yet with that ability. It’s only good if u have a whole list of songs u already know the names of and can create ur own playlist. Hopefully this can be improved on. I love Amazon for everything else, shopping and shows but this music app. Needs work still.

App continuously crashes after playing a song for 30s. I’ve deleted and redownloaded 3x. This app is junk.

Although initially, I did not like the switch for prime members from having complete control over about 2 million songs to having complete access to all the songs on amazon music ad-free, but with less control over what your listening to, I’m a deep diver not a song browser. I’ve come to appreciate being able to listen to and discover a wide range of music without the extra cost of a music subscription. And the add free podcasts are a nice touch, I’d recommend Listening to “Fail Better” before going to sleep A podcast you can’t get add free on Apple even after you pay for it. If I really want to get into Listening to albums again, I’ll just pay there music subscription occasionally, they deserve it, even people who hate on amazon have got to admit they treat there customers pretty well.

Good app, don’t like that some music they completely remove.

Useless

It’s a shame , I have been a prime subscriber for many years . Amazon music wasn’t as restricted as it is now . I understand making money is key however , you penalized your valued subscribers in the process . We rarely get next day service anymore. That ok , I’ve learned to do without the extra benefits of Amazon music that use to be part of the membership .
