Amazon One Reviews

Love using Amazon One at Whole Foods

m0nsoon on

It’s really easy and quick to pay for my produce. I haven’t had any issues with it. The best part is that I can apply my Amazon prime loyalty discount and pay with just one palm swipe instead of having to dig out my phone and find the QR code to scan.

Poorly designed UI

You can’t add your credit card on an iPhone if your expiration date is in December, because the option is placed off the touchable area of the bottom of the screen.

Amazon One bans Amazon Prime Store Card

Who thought this through and went, “You know what’s a great idea?! Let’s accept any credit card but our own Amazon Prime Store Card! Why? Because reasons…” This is what happens when Amazon keeps hiring leet code programmers. Solve your little puzzles and get stumped when having to build actual software. LOL.

Same as everyone else

This is so poorly done. Going through sign up to just need your card when you use it in store is so stupid.

C’mon Amazon

Tried to use this new & interesting tech only to find a glitch in logging into my account the first time. You say enter a phone # to receive a “one time” code, but it never comes. I did it 2X and made sure my phone # is correct… the code never came.

Stupid App

I have tried to sign up several times. Unfortunately, I never get the OTP to finish. I’m done. Will never use this stupid thing.

App gets stuck on enrolling

I’m already signed up for Amazon one with my palm, I just need to link my Amazon prime account. (So, I can pay with my palm, but it doesn’t automatically give me to Amazon prime discounts). I downloaded this app to help associate my phone number with my Amazon one account, but part way through the wizard, (where I type my phone number), it literally gets stuck. I can cancel, and it cancels right away, but does not advance to the next screen after I type my phone number and hit continue. I will try again in a week, hoping this error is fixed. Thank you!

nOTP…? User Error

Must like others, not receiving the OTP. Onve Amazon fixes, will update review. Update: The problem everyone is having with the app not sending the OTP is that they are using “Sign In” thinking they can just sign in with their Amazon password. First time users STILL need to click the “Sign Up” button (NOT Sign In). You will then log in with your Amazon ID and password that links your Amazon account to Amazon One. You will then receive the OTP and be able to proceed with sign up. I made the mistake (easy to do because it’s not intuitive) of trying to log in with my Amazon ID the first time (like you do with Google services) but this is not show Amazon works apparently. You first have to sign up even though you’re going to use your existing Amazon ID and password. Hopefully this helps some people.

Cannot sign up

Like others have reported, I don’t get the text message with the OTP password so can’t sign up. This is not confidence building for an app that’s supposed to be the latest in biometric security….

Didn’t work then froze my card
