Can’t watch top movies and tv shows because of geographical restriction

2+min of unskippable ads more often than youtube even with prime membership.

I just subscribed to Amazon prime video and nothing is working. I tried to connect my device and no matter how many times I enter the code and get a notification saying my device is added, the screen is the same on my smart tv and I can only refresh the screen without actually getting connected. I downloaded the app on my phone and it won’t let me sign in, saying to try again later. I’m getting blockages on every turn and I can’t help but feel like the tech is extremely faulty, with limited ways to even troubleshoot the problem.

They were a great streaming service and had good shows. Then they randomly threw in adds now that you have to pay extra to remove. They’ve never done this before. Honestly just disappointing. That’s why I switched to Netflix

The app is slow, interface counterintuitive, and now has mid-show ads. Prime is a joke that is not competing with other streaming apps.

very easy to use for making “to watch list” on iPad while watching on big screen...it’s great!

They started out with “limited ads” and that has quickly gone to endless intrusive ads throughout all their programming. With how awful the interface is it makes watching anything on prime tedious

They have some decent shows that I am interested in watching. But I don’t want to sit through long blocks of unskippable ads to watch shows on a subscription I have already paid for. This is why I stopped paying for cable TV. On top of that the app is very laggy on my Apple TV, making browsing selections hit or miss. I could accept a janky app as long as it was a reasonable perk of paying for Prime, but now it’s just another thing shaking me down for a subscription and shoving ads in my face. Not worth it.
