Amazon Shopping

I used to switch between the US and Japan regions in the app smoothly, but after updating to the new iOS, the Amazon app has issues when switching countries. I can't customize the currency and language. Every time I switch to Japan and then back to the US, I have to receive a one-time SMS code. I've set up Face ID, but it hasn't helped.

A camera on sale on Amazon primed .. so I joined Amazon prime and purchased … then my prime and order banned by Amazon …saying it is suspicious trade ( because Iam new join and the order is expensive ? ) I tried again another new account and another credit card … also banned with the same reason.. Amazon request me to provide doc for verification… may be after verification the prime day deal is over … What a mess ! Then today they email me saying my one moth. prime is over . And asking me to joined it again . What ! ? Are you serious ?

I had a broken item in a package, so I asked for an exchange. Since the item is already returned and refunded, the Amazon agent said they are not able to give me an exchange. So the agent asked me to place a new order and promised me and send me an email to confirm that they will refund the shipping fee to me after the item is arrived. After the item is arrived, I connected to the Amazon customer service again, they said that’s an incorrect information and are not able to give me a refund back. I tried to call amazon customer service, they give me the same answer and even cut off my call without answering my questions! Amazon customer service is just useless, not really helping customer.

For an online only business seeking a global footprint, the app still lives in the insular days of brick-and-mortar shopping. In fact it is going backwards. The app used to have options that allow you to switch countries easily. But that option seems to have disappeared. Even representatives on their help page were unable to tell me if the switching feature has been removed or whether it is a temporary glitch. Instead I was told to use a browser to do my shopping instead of using the Amazon app. Instead of channelling resources to AI-produced summaries of all reviews on a product (which is like summarising all Anerican political opinions), the developers should spend more energy on the growing market of international shoppers.

Any launching schedule for traditional Chinese?

I don’t understand why app asks me to change address all the time. For hundreds of purchase I made with Amazon, only once was shipped to a friend’s address. Now it always asked me to confirm the shipping address 90% of time when I open the app. What is this???? The check out process is also quite difficult. I have a very long list of products in the cart and I need to evaluate which ones I want to buy this time. But every time I go away to look at an item in the cart, it returns me to the top of my shopping cart. I need to scroll again and again to find where I was in the cart item list. For this Temu does a much better job, it always shows me return me to where I was and also shows the subtotal of the items I have already ticked. Now I always have to go back to the top and see how much I already need to pay. really not very good UX.

Compare with eBay , the whole Amazon system is not user friendly. Trash

No way to disable the Rufus AI, keep accidentally sliding it up when I’m browsing. Truly infuriating. Worst design choice ever! Let us decide whether we want to see the Rufus AI bar or not!!!!

Why do the app showing our personal address on top of the app everytime we open it? Cant you just hide it after we dismiss it
