Site can be okay.
Used the site on & off for years.
Been awhile since ordered anything via amazon & placed a large book order however one part of package never arrived.
Its the couriers 9/10 & their services that give this site a bad reputation but that doesn't stop amazon from basically blaming you for something you have no control over.
Have been given a warning for something that isn't even my fault yet amazon have threaten to ban me when they really need to sort out their courier issues and realize its their actions not the consumer.
They block you
Have had to access chat a number of times re Amazon saying they have shipped goods then they cancell for unknown reason and they don't seem to be able to fix problem so they have blocked me from chat they aren't as good as they make out. Incidentally this is Amazon USA

Unreliable service and fake products.
I had multiple bad experiences with Amazon. I have prime (paid) membership which promises delivery with a day. They never do. Also, the product which I received looked dodgy and did not work. I returned they product and the replacement product was the same. I’ve ordered another product which promised next day delivery. This is third day and I haven’t received it. Customer support had accepted my complaint but no resolution. What’s the point paying for their Prime membership. Also, they have no curtesy of compensating for their unacceptable service.

Personally I’ve been sceptical about buying overseas for a mountain of reasons but I’ve ordered 4 times from Amazon (Australia) and have been nothing but impressed. Full tracked shipping is always an ease of mind and the last few orders I’ve have turned up 4-7days early!
My only 2cents is, make sure your on the Aus version as it can tell you if they can ship to your address etc, plus the conversion isn’t a massive surprise for the wallet when you hit the checkout (being a little more then the advertised price - AUD/NZD)

Shocking customer service!!
Placed an order. 5 days later received an email from Amazon stating part of the order was cancelled as good damaged on the way and they are being returned.
Inspite of having the same on my order page, had to contact customer support 6 times over a period of 45 days for them to issue me a refund. These 6 times were filled with lies, disrespect, cutting off abruptly, ignorance and incompetence. I know it is hard not to order from Amazon but I have since then not placed a single order.
I had huge respect for their customer support but recently they treat customers like thieves and cheaters.

Great selection, easy to follow system. My only improvement would be when the system continually reminds me that the goods I am ordering qualify for free shipping, why does it add a shipping fee at the last step?
If it is actually free shipping we will use use you more regularly. Thanks for looking at this.
