Reordering Tiles Costs Extra?
I have had an ambient wx station for years. I should not have to pay any additional money to look at MY data from MY weather station in the app. I was flabbergasted to discover that a simple reordering of my tiles required a paid upgrade of the app.
No easy setup for Ambient weather station
It doesn’t appear that this app allows wind and rain amount readings. That’s why I purchased the WS-4000.
Buggy and getting bloated
Gave up using the application and now just access it via home assistant. This is a shame as the application was nice. It’s just getting too bloated with trying to upsell and doesn’t work half the time.
Doesn’t work
Just dorsnt work the app won’t let you fix anything or reset anything . It’s just rubbish product.
App less usable with freemium model
I have to pay $50 per year to change the order of the data points in the list view? How is that a premium feature? You’re intentionally making the app less usable so you can try to make some more money on subscription fees. I don’t mind paying a yearly fee if there’s real value in it, but this is just stupid. Now I have to scroll through a bunch of tiles before I see the data I care about.
App not updating
At first the app worked great, but now upon opening the app the front page displays weather from two months ago. I will likely not renew. If the data is old I may as well use the free version.
Great data if you can read it
The app is really great with the exception of the font size and color. There is no way to increase the size of the screen. You cannot enlarge any part of it and some of the fonts are so tiny and so light is nearly impossible to read.
AWN App
I wish there was an option to simply match the view on the weather station. Also the indoor temperature and humidity are no longer displaying. The method of displaying data from local weather station has changed and is extremely awkward and non intuitive.
Don’t get fooled.
This weather app has an undeserved high rating. It lacks a radar that shows rainfall locations, making it useless for many users.
