Might be worst streaming app ever built. Not even an option to search. Dont think I need to go any further than that.

This is the textbook case on how to write the crappiest, most user hostile streaming app ever created,. App freezes near the end, you restart the show and it goes all the way back to the beginning. But wait! Try to fast forward to the almost the end of the episode and we will make you watch at least 4 commercials. Try to cheat by going back and then restart? PENALTY! Now you will watch 6 commercials. Learned your lesson yet?

Incredibly bad interface.

This app is horrendous! Unable to cast episodes to chromecast and when it does actually connect it crashes 2 minutes later with an error.

No internet connection?! Research shows problem dating back to over a year now. Hire real mobile developers and not React Native web developers. I had Chromecast development and integration working flawless back in 2012. Get proper.

Ads if I rewind ! I already watched that ad, but because I missed something and went back 15 seconds I have to watch the ad AGAIN ?! And every time you start an episode, even if you’re resuming from moments ago when you used the restroom, another ad ! Every time ! This app is awful. Shame on AMC.

Update. My previous review is below and after a YEAR no improvements Pause or rewind at your own peril This is about the buggiest app in all of streaming. The only thing that saves AMC is the programming but honestly - at this point I’ll probably skip their new series because their app is such a deterrent. Sometimes the app just glitches out and puts you back at the beginning when you select “resume”. Wanna turn on the captions and keep them on? Good luck. After every 3 min commercial break you have to turn them on AGAIN. And don’t get me started on seeing the SAME ad 10x in a row. Honestly, I don’t care how much Heather likes the chicken sandwich and I’m starting to resent the company. And why would I download the other app? Not about to pay for a buggy app. Or early access without commercials if this app experience is what I have to base that decision on.

I can’t even subscribe because it only wants my service provider which doesn’t include it, let me give you money 😭🙏

Because if you pause you get a menu that allows you to see info or subtitles, but you can’t get rid of it without backing out of the program completely! And once you set the subtitles the program pauses you have to unpause it, so there’s no logic in this at all it!

There is a commercial every three minutes of the show! And I just now watch the Burger King commercial repeat 4 times in one block. This is horrible
