## Amcrest View Pro Reviews in United States

### *---- "Useless"
There’s no way this is a legit application. The settings don’t work and won’t even register most of my cameras. Amcrest teams function worse than their applications. Why so many applications that do the same thing and all with dumped ratings
-- ..m..2, 2024-12-23

### *---- "Do not buy Amcrest"
These cams are ok, but the software is horrible. Do not buy this garbage. Absolutely the worst programming you’ll ever see. Even worse than windows 95 back in the day.
-- Big-G1962, 2024-12-14

### *---- "App is not a great experience"
1. You can paste wifi password
2. No way to find IP address of camera from app
-- sir_pennyfeather, 2024-12-06

### *---- "Doesn’t work"
Stay away from this brand as they could care less about Mac apps or the user feedback and reviews saying this app doesn’t work for Mac!!
-- san company, 2024-12-03

### *---- "App is an Afterthought to Amcrest!"
Cameras are great. But that’s where the pros of Amcrest camera systems end. Wish we’d have gone with another company from the beginning, but with 21 total cameras, we’re unfortunately committed at this point. The app itself is ABYSMAL! Amcrest just doesn’t care to improve anything here. Not much has changed in this app in 7-8 years.
Main complaints: 1) The user interface is NOT user friendly. 2) The cameras viewed in favorites MUST remain in the camera channel order and CANNOT be reordered so you have the cameras arranged how you want. PLEASE fix this! 3) You cannot save the camera layout of your live view, so every time you switch between favorites groups, you just rearrange all the cameras again. 4) The ability to rename the camera (instead of “channel #”) doesn’t work - though the help menu suggests that you can modify this. Overall wouldn’t recommend going with Amcrest if you don’t already have a camera system. Try one of the other major companies
-- Emeraldeyes 82, 2024-11-27

### *---- "App is worthless"
Good luck loading anything. Cameras work but the app is literal trash.

I will absolutely NOT be using them when I change cameras. It’s been trash forever and they don’t care to fix it.
-- Aldkndnejzjmslald, 2024-11-16

### **--- "Bug using iPhone 16 with ios 18.1"
Camera app view is not the full view of the camera. so you do not see a large area that the camera is focused on needs to be fixed. This affects all my indoor and outdoor wifi cameras but works fine on older phones and ios
-- TowHaul Utah, 2024-11-14

### *---- "Same as NO Security"
If you just bought it please return it! Worst app, worst interface, worst resolution. I had their cameras for over 2 years it was never good. Now that out house was vandalized yepp there’s no recordings.
-- Ñajaf, 2024-11-01

### *---- "To get playback"
This is difficult to find and to bring to the screen. The playback procedure is NOT user friendly.!!
-- Easternerok!, 2024-10-23

### *---- "Great cameras .. software and online login sad"
Logging in online to the camera once you’re in, you can’t see the camera. You can’t click on different things and even access it … it is not or not at all easier to setup to record while you are gone.. if it does manage to record you can’t just view it online it has to be downloaded to view.. on the app it says no recordings … I’m so disappointed that the cameras are so nice and the access is horrible
