First, when I try to transfer funds from a different institution it errors out. Second, when trying to deposit physical checks their OCR solution doesn’t always work and the system in fully automated. This means that if it cannot read a check (which is in perfect condition and completely legible by a human) then it cannot be deposited within the app. I tried calling AmEx about this, and because they don’t have any physical locations they told me my only option is to mail the check in via postal mail at my expense. -- Matt Hsbtj, 2024-08-27 ### *---- "Terrible" No push notifications. The app is simple, intuitive and reliable. The check image capture feature is quite good and has always worked. The only issue that keeps me from leaving 5 stars is this: When I log out, the facial id is immediately tripped and I’m logged right back in. When I just swipe away the app and return later, the facial id activates and I’m immediately back in - however- there is a log-out warning pop-up that persists from the last instance and cannot be closed and often freezes the app. I have to close the app completely, re-open and it’s fine until the whole loop starts again.
