Impossible to complain about payments taken illegally if you’re a UK customer. AMEX employ some fraudulent contractors who say that they investigate then don’t. It’s the pits. I’ve been in law enforcement for over 30 years. I have never been treated like this by a bank. For this reason I do not recommend American Express to anyone based in the UK. I won’t be renewing my subscription having been conned out of a 3 digit some of money with AMEX’s complicity.

They’ll let you down when you most needed them. It’s a shame.
