### ***** "Game Changer!! Notes quickly become Tasks, Scheduling, and Calendar"
Amplenote has been incredible so far.
I work in medical device sales and I’m also a startup founder, so I’m constantly wearing a lot of hats. Having a reliable system for capturing notes has always been a challenge—most scheduling tools are terrible for note-taking, and most note-taking apps don’t integrate well with time-blocking, task management, or calendar planning.

Amplenote finally brings all of that together. Being able to start every idea in Jots, then seamlessly turn those thoughts into tasks, events, or follow-ups, has been a game-changer. Over the past month I’ve had a genuine shift in my productivity, and Amplenote has played a big part in that.

### ***** "Worth the (relatively short) Learning Curve"
I came to this app straight from the most convoluted of all Notion setups. I had reminders for different subjects in (don’t judge me) 3 different apps as well. My calendar was in Google calendar, having no desktop app bugged me to no end, and I was looking for an alternative for my PKM. Amplenote has replaced all of it. I won’t lie and say there’s no learning curve, but it follows the general flow of most tried and true productivity models (BASB, GTD, etc.) especially if you tweak your tag setup a bit. I know where the info I need is. I’m pushed to make more tasks and less useless note piles. It’s using literally HALF the memory on my laptop that Notion would take, not to mention no longer needing to run a separate task list at all, and the phone widget is awesome to boot. Community plugins are well made, responses to feedback and community voting boards help prioritize new features. The developers genuinely seem to care. It takes some learning up front, but not as much as you think. Give it a try.

Good app. Widgets don’t work since upgrading to ios26 and it takes away a fair amount of the functionality for me. Would be a 4 star if that was fixed.

Additionally, not being able to automatically make events that sync to my calendar is a huge issue.

### ***** "Great for managing different sets of tasks"
I’ve only been using Amplenote a week, but it’s already been really helpful for me! I got it for the task/calendar integration.

What I actually really like is being able to see a comprehensive list of tasks based off of different notes. So I can see, for example, my kitchen tasks alongside my plant care tasks. The task priority system helps me figure out what to do and not get so overwhelmed with everything. 

If you need to upgrade your simple to-do lists to a more powerful task management system, this is the perfect app!

### ***** "Don’t Try to Recreate the Wheel"
My notetaking/PKI journey went OneNote > Amplenote > Obsidian > Heptabase > Confluence Cloud > Amplenote. If you’re trying to actually get stuff done, Amplenote is the app to use. From the big things like Exchange Online integration and backlinks to the small things like efficiently nesting endless combinations of bullet points and task items, Amplenote stands apart and ahead of it’s competitors in a market that is saturated with contenders.

I could’ve used this app if the UI wasn’t so poorly designed. Why pay for an app if the UI is so poorly designed. The android UI is even worse. I’m honestly disappointed because I would’ve paid the subscription but the Ui is such a deal breaker that I just can’t.  In till they fix the UI, I won’t be using this app.

Alright, I am going to update my review.  I have been using Amplenote for over 2 years now.  I have had the occasional thought that I should switch to another application but I just can’t find one that fits my needs as consistently and well as this application.  I still love using it and am someday I hope to extend it with my own plugins (but doing what I can, one at a time right now)

### ***** "Fantastic productivity tool"
I’ve been using Amplenote for a bit now and have enjoyed how much I’ve been able to do within this one app. I love the ease of onboarding and the intuitive workflow that facilitates moving from ideas to execution. I like that it is cross platform and so far syncing has been great. I love that it seems to still be continually developed and improved. Kudos to the Amplenote team for such a fantastic product.
